Irish, Scotch, Bourbon... they're all pretty good.

I'm just not a big fan of blended Scotch.

Whiskey is a great drink. The word is derived from a Gaelic phrase meaning "water of life". Damn right it is.

You know what grinds my gears about that?
One of my old professors asked me to write a recommendation for him to get a senior Lecturer position at my old school. I have been out for ten years and he was helpful, so I wrote one up. I didnt hear anything back from him after it. No "thanks Tim." or even word that he got the position which he did and i saw on Linked in. so that kinda pissed me off that I wrote a very nice recommendation, and sent him a copy, but got not one reply. WTF, No decency to say thank you?

The art of the thank you is quickly being lost. I still tend to hand write thank you cards and drop them in the mail. It's a nice touch.

what a jerk. i sent a copy to the girl too and told her i sent it in. i always liked then people sent me copies of them when I was going through all that. i hope she gets in the program. she's awesome. the letter only took like 5 minutes to write. it's so easy when you have alot to say.

i always HATED it when my dad forced me to sit down a write out thank you cards. it was torture. but now that i'm older i get it. right after getting engaged i went out a bought a big box of blank cards. i have a feeling i'm going to need them.

you should write a ‘de-recommendation’ complete with an artist rendering of him beating a schoolboy with a pillowcase full of batteries

Just make sure you write in fine print, "Dramatisation, may not have happened."

Haha..wait until your bridal shower and the wedding. It's torture! But a good glass of wine and about 10 a night, you'll be done in no time!
