Would a habs fan do Kristo and weber for Kadri and Franson? Would a leaf fan do Kristo and Weber for Kadri and Franson? Ask yourself the second question and im Pretty sure the answer to that answers your question.
I figured someone would answer that.
I'll put it this way: I believe Subban has greater value than Schenn.
But that goes beyond my intentions, I wasn't being literal. Just wanted to get my point across.
problem here ... it makes tor's defense even deeper when if anything, they'll be trying to package or ship one out ... so it would have to be after a dman is moved imo
no thanks. we have more than enough 2nd line centers and big slow shutdown D.
leafs biggest need is size in the top 6. because of this i don't see us targeting any montreal players to be honest. if you really want kadri the conversation starts with pacioretty.

Even PG would end the conversation as soon as Burkie said Patches name.

Eller is a top six player with size...not that I want you guys to have him, but I wanted to clear this one out for you.

how predictable. i'll play along.
burke would hang up the phone before gauthier could even finish saying kadri's name in the first place.
kadri has really turned a corner since being called up and the leafs are high on kadri at this point in time. if a division rival wants him it's going to take an overpayment not an underpayment. the leafs biggest need is size in the top 6. can't address it? then don't even ask about kadri.
Cammalleri is overpaid and small. Gill is old and useless. No way you are a Leafs fan....seriously????
Seriously Seriously.
Their is always 2 sides of the coin. Cammalleri is maybe overpaid by 1 million and is small, but then he is also a clutch goal scorer and playoff successor. Gill is old, but very useful to a last place PK team.
Here let me try:
Kadri is also small, and hasn't proved SQUAT, at the NHL level.
Aulie is tall and slow, and seems the only thing he can provide is toughness.
Lombardi is overpaid and injury riddled.
Of course that deal would come at the deadline, and if we actually have a shot at making the playoffs.
If were out of contention by the deadline, then I also wouldn't do that deal either..
Leafs Nations needs playoffs, and Burkie knows this.

the leafs are high on kadri and his upside. if a division rival wants him it's going to take an overpayment not an underpayment. the leafs biggest need is size in the top 6. can't address it? then don't even ask about kadri.
So the Leafs are high on Kadri. Big deal. That doesn't mean we stupid enough to overpay by giving up Patches for him just because you guys over value a player.
this is probably where i'd like to go with it as a leafs fan, but usually pick proposals get slammed on this forum so... ya
but i would do this from a leafs pov
why?
That's why you're not GM. The Habs first is likely to be 10-20. Kadri is a top ten pick with first line potential, and is exactly where he should be in his development two years in. A third, which is unlikely to even make the NHL, much less provide an impact, is the difference?

Pick proposals get slammed for a reason.
The 7th overall picks usually don't take 3 yrs to crack a bad team.he's far back in his development.

hey, you guys asked what it would take. don't give me attitude just because you didn't like the answer.
