Well, we wanted at least 3 of 4 pts. Let's see if we can now get all 4

Haha feel bad for NoNeck for turning off this game. Great effort and a huge win.

A three-point game is fine by me, because we get the two and they get the one!

Remember when the end of the world was beginning? Way back in the first period? I'd hate to have turned this game off and then see the score in the morning.

More bitter, bitter gall for the Legwand haters. How many GWGs is that for him this year??

Will have to check with adz and see if the Chairman and CEO of the Leggy Sucks Consortium has succumed to apoplexy yet...

Love me some legs. That is all.

That was a hard fought win.

Avs seemed to have our number but we battled through it.

Question, why were Ellis and Josi consistently on our 1st pp unit? I can understand playing the hot hand, but after every single powerplay, and after we go 0-6!?

It depends on who was on the ice the shift when the penalty was called. If Suter and Weber were out there, Trotz has to go with the fresher D at that point. That's probably the only reason. It could also be who the forward line was when the penalty was called and if Trotz wants to keep those guys with Weber and Suter, he'll put out the other combo of players first.

Dammit, every time I watch a Nsh game (didn't see this whole one so my mistake if they did), C Wilson and Smith are never playing together. I don't understand this, they're young, let them build chemistry.

Smith was out there with the bruiser I think tonight.

Leggy's 'Legginess' has passed to Fisher as of late. Good for 11, bad for 12.

22 gets lots of chances (to miss a lot) because he busts his ass out there. This game was halischuck (as usual), tootoo (as usual), and legwand (surprisingly) in the bust-ass department.

ETA: Borque busts ass, too. He does not want to go back to riding a bus in Milwaukee.

Legwand actually made a move on a defender, and it actually worked, and he actually didn't give up the puck.

Today's the day for powerball...

Maybe he can start making some out of the ordinary plays on regular basis? Unfortunately you have a better chance of him leading the NHL in EN goals, again.

Signed,
Lewgand realists.

Haven't heard from him since this afternoon when he texted "Go Avs" to me. I'm thinking he's probably hunkered down in his grotto trying to come up with a convincing story from his alternate universe where he adores David Legwand.

They mentioned that on the radio yesterday morning. They like the kids on the 1st PP unit because they can create chances. Probably be that way for awhile.
