Has Lupul always been so... *****y? Seems like every time we play Toronto he has something to say.
Anyways, other than that, it's a non-story. Little stuff happens like this all the time, especially with a team like ours that probably should be frustrated as hell. From the sounds of it, Gerbe was one of the few to play with an edge yesterday and I'm guessing it lasted more than the final 2 minutes of the game (I stopped watching after the second).
If this team had any heart they would go out and physically dominate the Leafs the next time they play. Fights, hits, you name it make their lives miserable. But what's likely to occur is the same old passionless boring Sabre hockey we have all come to hate.

I remember Lupul shoving Gerbe before Gerbe threw the punch. Standard stuff but I'm hating Lupul more and more with each passing game, I just wish he'd go back to being irrelevant.
I hate him now, notably for his obnoxious tweets about the city last time he was here. But nothing in this article is earth shattering or disrespectful. He's sort of correct of you apply his statement to the team overall, not just Gerbe.
Lupul messed with the bull, and he got the horns....Now leave Gerbe alone so he can go back to feeding in his pasture....Come again Friday you can get the horns once again Lupul !
dude's a total baby. i watched the whole thing, he's the one who hit gerbe first. but seriously aw, 5'5 gerbe hit you? why don't you go cry about it.
I had the same thought. The isolation replay of it is pretty clear with him throwing the first couple, getting one back, then throwing a couple more. Said it before, saying it again: Lupul's a 'bag.

Seems like he is just trying to stir the pot. Whatever. At the least he should save that for playoff opponents. That all said, i would love someone to nail him good and give him something to actully complain about.
He's still at it. Will be interesting to watch next game.
Lol, he can keep chirping at us all season from balmy Toronto. It's the other teams in the east he and the Leafs need to watch out for, not the Sabres at this point.
