Boston has already proven what they're capable of and the Rangers need to match it. Here's hoping to a good game this afternoon.

Also those "Saints We Ain't" Avy's are awesome.

Bruins fan giving NY the nod. The Rangers have been more consistent this year, the bruins were cold, then red hot, and now lukewarm again, it's really anyone's guess at which bruins team will show up on any given night, or day. Anyway, hoping for an exciting game today

Pens are terrifying, nobody's mentioned the Sabres because they aren't in the playoffs. And the Devils? Come on now.

Like I said...my only worry about NY in the playoffs is their shot blocking style of hockey. I think between the physical beating the playoffs already are and then their defense of getting down for every shot...they may be slightly more prone to injuries than the next guy.

Either way....if these two meet in the ECF, I would say whoever comes out of the west wins...cause it'll be tough for the B's or Rangers to have much left in the tank after that 7 game series haha.

Rangers would only need 4 to sweep the Bruins ...so they would be well rested for the West team they would beat next for the CUP . I think though that they might be tired when it comes to the parade...but I guess they do ride for that one LOL !!!

Regular season beast? Gotta give the nod to the Rangers. Have been more consistent all season.

Both teams knocked out of the playoffs by round two. Book it. I think 6-8 is going to make some noise.

I thought changing a pane of glass was a standard process that took only a minute or two?

Pittsburgh have just as many points as Bruins with much more man games lost. Where's the discussion about them.

What a game so far. Boston gets the upper hand in fisticuffs. Not sure why bickel went with Campbell.

How is this a question? We are the Providence Bruins at the moment.

I was thinking just matching roughing... That sucked

I hope Boston and New York play in the playoffs. These games are much more exciting than those 1-0 trapfests a few years ago

Until they are dethroned they are the CHAMPS (Boston)

this is coming from a Rangers fan ...

PS Don't sell the Penguins short or the Devils.

If both teams are healthy (well the bruins with everyone besides horton and obviously savard) it easily goes to 6 or 7.

How does having Malkin make a difference? We've had ridiculous luck with injuries so to be tied with Boston is amazing.

Look at our man games lost. There's no reason we can't be as dangerous as Rangers or Bruins in the play-offs.

The Penguins are the best team in the NHL no matter what. There, are you happy?

I was shocked by how well MacDermid stood in there with Rupp. Was expecting the kid to get pummeled.
