New York Rangers forward Brandon Dubinsky will be a game-time decision for tonight's meeting with the Ottawa Senators.
If Dubinsky can't go, Wojtek Wolski will play his first game since having sports-hernia surgery in early November. He's been a healthy scratch the past couple of weeks as coach John Tortorella hasn't wanted to mess with the lineup as the Rangers have won five straight and 10 of 11.
If Dubi sits it'll be interesting to see how Wolski plays off his operation. Also found this point Sens writer Bruce Garrioch made via his Twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/SunGarrioch)...

Wojtek Wolski may play for the Rangers. He may be forced to answer for his hit on Alfredsson. #Sens
Remember Dubi is not in a sling, the x-rays are negative, and he said it was "sore". My guess is he plays after a cort. shot. In any case, we wont know until between 6:30-7, because he will most likely feel it out in the pregame skate.

My prediction is that he'll play as well. Thankfully he didn't sustain a serious injury.
I actually hope he doesn't get hurt trying to keep up. We play a real high tempo game, and he hasn't played in quite some time. And then there is that other team and payback, but if they try, put WW on Rupper's line and nothing will happen.

A pissed off, on his game Wolski can make this team better. Hope he wins Mitchell's spot, as Johnny M has become a slightly more physical version of Erik Christensen.

I never really thought of the Christensen bit but it really is true haha.
Mitchell has been everything you could ask for of a player in his role. Anyone thinking a need for this team is to upgrade Mitchell is really out of touch with reality. Rupp Mitchell Prust is the perfect fourth line. If Boyle can get his offensive game back to half of what it was last season, he'll be a fine third liner, but I actually think he could be a throw-in in a trade. I'd like Hagelin-Anisimov-Fedotenko to be our third line, and Rupp-Mitchell-Prust as the fourth. Dubinsky Richards Callahan as 1B, which leaves [spot]-Stepan-Gaborik as the top line. Maybe Wolski shocks us all and plays like he did his first couple of years in Colorado. If not, Whitney, Ruutu, or Prospal are all guys who based on the way the play, and in Prospal's case, unquestionable chemistry with Gaborik, could fit nicely there, completing an extremely balanced lineup without disrupting chemistry or removing key pieces of the roster. Boyle and a third for Ruutu? 3rd and Bourque for Prospal? Those would be my two most likely guesses.
Mitchell was not good enough for last year's non-playoffs Leafs team in a 4th line center role. So the suggestion that he should continue to play on a healthy roster here on a 1st place team is relatively misguided. Forwards don't suddenly become miles better at age 26.
Boyle should, and will eventually be the 4th line center on this team.
