What a fantastic win against Toronto tonight (1/13). Leopold looked terrific!

I think this game will go down as the turning point in the season. I know some thought the 4-3 beatdown of the Leafs where they took 45 penalties-in-a-row was the turning point, but THIS, this is really the turning point.

I miss Larry Quinn.

This is clearly what happens when your players stay healthy and all have career years!

Wow the Leino signing was so good. Looks like a steal only 1/2 season in

MAG is clearly the best Sabres player at ES. At +12 he's been remarkable.

I find this team so engaging that I feel the need to tune in and watch their games semi-regularly!

This might be the most insightful and important thread ever created on an internet forum.

(Hey, you wanted sarcasm, right?)

Gragnani is a solid D-man.

Lindy should coach for 12 more seasons.

We're better off without trading Roy and Stafford.

I'm excited about tonight's game. This is a stellar franchise. Derek Roy is good.

I love the camera angle from Nassau Coliseum. Being on one blue line, it makes me feel like I'm right there in the thrilling confines of that great old barn.

Go Sabres! Beat the Isles! Let them Fail for Nail!

Man, I'm really bummed I don't get to tune in to these two stellar teams facing off in a battle for Eastern conference superiority. It's going to be a really good, fast paced game played in one of the best Arenas in the league.

A single thread for all the sarcasm around here should work out great.

I mean, it's not like we have so many smart- and/or dumb- [synonym for donkey]s around here that the sarcasm is simply dripping from every other thread and post on the board.

Oh, and while I'm here, does anyone know where I could get my hands on a pink Roy jersey in infant size? I'm dying to get one for the boy, and if I could find one that's signed, I'd be thrilled.

Guess this might as well get posted in here then.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=610811

Whoever put this list together obviously watches all of the Sabres games and would never, ever just pull up the stats on rookie defenseman and sort by +/-.

Now, I know what you're thinking. That +/- is probably the most useful statistic in all of professional sports, and has immense predictive power (as joshjull can attest to), but you can just tell that this guy knows his stuff from first-hand experience.

If Miller played against the Islanders that would clearly have been a win.
