Oh yeah that would be a possibility and have Hordichuk come out.

Getzlaf, Perry and Ryan will pick our defense apart. Oilers lose 5-3.

We're gonna win! It's in my foggy crystal ball, maybe not this game, but we're gonna win!

Barker says his recovery has gone "extremely well". He's been skating for the past week and a half but today was his first with the team. Does not expect to play till after the All Star Break.

So... if things go smoothly, after the ASG Break, I think we'll see

Smid - Gilbert
Barker - Petry
Sutton - Potter
Peckham

With Teubert back to OKC. Whitney... I have a sneaking suspicion they'll shut him down.

There has been some small rumblings that he may be coming back very soon. At this point I'd honestly rather have Whitney barely able to skate out there and send Petry back to OKC.

He's supposed to be back before the ASG break... but this seasons a write off and I'd rather he be fully ready to make a go of it next season. Let him take all the time in the world to heal.

I'm all for giving him as much time as he needs, but if he recovers, i think he'd be better off next season having some late games in this season.

I don't think it will matter. Whitney is going to be like this the rest of his career.

I hope ur wrong ... but it is a possibility, you sometimes are never 100% after surgery and if that is the case it sets us back a few years ... IMO this is what I saw for the future

Whitney -???

You're absolutely correct.

Sounds like Hall is moving from his goal line spot to the right half boards on the PP. Hopefully Hemmer tries to connect with him on some cross-box one-timers tonight.

tries is the key word. I fully expect to see Hemsky force plays through traffic that create odd man rushes the other way.

I'm hoping for one thing tonight. That Cogliano goes the wrong way the first time he gets the puck.

Edit: Sorry two things I guess. Hopefully that waitress that wears a low cut shirt on gameday because she thinks guys will tip her more is there too.

I'd rather have Whitney heal up properly (if he ever does) and shut it down for the season and have Petry continue to develop in the NHL. He has played well over the last 10 games or so, i see no reason to send him to OKC.

That'd be enjoyable. On both counts. And she does it cause they will.

Does Cogliano get a starting lineup cheer tonight then boo?... or indifference?... or straight up boos. Hahah

I wouldn't boo Cogliano, anyone that does deserves to be hit over the head. The hurt that kid played with last year was unreal. How many highsticks did he take last year? He'd get stitches or vaseline and get right back out there.

Yep, just to tip home the winner with mere seconds left on the clock.

That whole Red Wings game the fix was in. We so deserved to win that. Le sigh.

Agree 100%. Anyone who boos Cogs should be ashamed. Good foot soldier who gave his all for us. Maybe Jones can high stick him in the mouth to make him feel more at home tonight.

I think he gets a few cheers/claps UNLESS he scores a point or a goal.

Any returning player that gets a point here will get booed. As Gretzky once said that is how it should be.
