I trained this kid in north bay while I was at school off ice I am just curious how he is comming along because I know he was fairly touted last year and this is his draft year. Any insight?

Very up and down year.

At some points he looks like the best player in the age group, but alot of the time will be invisable.

Very interested to see his progression this year, but hes looking at being a 9-13th overall pick at this point, with the potential to fall a little because other players are playing well.

Him and Bourne are somewhat the same. Up and down all year, and no consistency. I know most boards have Bourne ahead of Hargrave, but at the Prospects game, Hargrave was visible, and Bourne, invisible.

Between the Marlies and Rebels, they could account for 10 picks in the first round, and maybe more, depending on some long shots.

Hargrave will go OHL first round. Massive kid who can skate really well with good acceleration. Has a nose for the net. He was noticeable at the Prospects game. He didnt show well against the Marlboros last week. I agree with the above statement about consistency. Sometimes Hargrave and Bourne stand out like men against boys. Other times they look not interested.
