i'm missing my first game of the season(i'm dvring it) for the most awesome reason..... front row pit tickets at the philadelphia academy of music 700 for........ mother frackin Jerry Seinfeld. this is a bucket list event for me ladies and gentlemen. i couldn't be more excited. go flyers! bryz comes up huge after sitting in the zamboni hallway for the isles.
edit* just wanted to add that my awesome fiancee got me these tickets for my 30th bday. she's the absolute greatest thing that ever happened to me! go flyers!

Yet another test for Bryz. This is a great day for hockey, Hawks/Wings are on now and by the time it's over, NJ at Winnipeg will start at 3. Then all the 7 pm games including Rangers and Laffs, Philly at 8, Cal/LA at 10. On a cold day, you can't ask for a better reason to stay in!
If Bryzgalov doesn't play tonight, the next opportunity would be Tuesday -- that's about nine days without playing. Otherwise, here's Laviolette's reasoning...
Ilya Bryzgalov is back in goal. Laviolette said he had planned to use Sergei Bobrovsky at the Island because of how well he played there in November and that the struggling Bryzgalov was penciled in for Nashville all along as part of his rotation.

Nope, I'm staying inside for the day! Tomorrow I'm getting up at 6 and going outside most of the day to photograph owls and other wildlife so I need a day of inside activities to balance it out!
