If Overeem was smart he would have refused testing before the presser, as the commission had no grounds to test him based on the fact he doesn't have a license.

He had to take 2 random tests b/c he was fighting on a conditional license.

"The license was granted on three conditions: Overeem must submit a new urine sample at an approved lab in the next 72 hours; he must also take a urine test upon arriving in the United States, and he must also pass two random tests at some point in the next six months."
The guy is a dumbass, pure and simple. He knew there was a good chance he'd be receiving a random test, yet he continued to juice.
Something interesting I read on another site prior to even the UFC 141 event was that if Overreem failed one of the random post-fight tests that any decision at 141 could be overturned.

That settles it. Overturn Overeem/Lesnar, and give Lesnar his deserved title shot! Brock's back!

He doesn't really deserve a title shot but style wise he is a tougher match up for JDS than Mir imho. Guy has a granite chin and heavy hands which gives him a chance by default. Mir has OK hands but his chin is weak and i see him going down rapidly as soon as he gets tagged by JDS. I don't think he can take JDS down either.
If not Hunt then i'd like to see :
Mir vs JDS , Cain vs Bigfoot and Hunt vs Nelson. With Gonzaga and Del Rosario on the card as well it would still be interesting even without Reem imho.
Or Cain vs JDS II but chances of this happening are slim to none.
Throw me on the Hunt bandwagon as well. Even though he doesn't warrant a title shot under normal circumstances, he'll at least give the fans an exciting fight, even if he does get picked apart by JDS. Keeps the #1 contender fight intact as well, which is good.
I need to add that i am pretty disappointed in Reem. I think it was pretty obvious that he roided at some point but i was hoping that he would come clean now that he's fighting in North America.
I still like to watch him fight but his reputation dropped a few notches as far as i'm concerned. To me he's now on the same level as Barnett/Sonnen. Still like to watch these guys but goddammit.....

Completely agree. Mir and Cain is a perfect number one contender fight, and there's no question Hunt would give JDS a run for his money standing. I also felt that Struve made no sense for him because I felt like Kongo was ranked above Struve, so the fight seemed like a waste to me. Certainly a lot of Hunt support around the web, but I just can't see the UFC doing it unfortunately.
I don't know about Hunt, it would be an interesting fight and probably more entertaining than Mir/JDS but I think the fight with Hunt would go down the same way the Carwin/JDS went, with JDS picking Hunt apart and eventually Hunt running out of gas.
People are righting Mir off to early, his boxing skills are descent and if it goes to the ground JDS will be in a lot of trouble.

Hunt's striking is so much better than Carwin's. Carwin pretty much relied on brute power while Hunt does have that, he's a K1 champ.
The way I look at it, the main event is already ruined, it can't be salvaged to the extent that anyone would be satisfied, except maybe Frank Mir. But at least putting Hunt in against JDS gives us that striker vs striker match-up and it doesn't off-set any of the other fights on the card aside from needing to find Struve an opponent, which shouldn't be hard.
Cain/Mir remains as the #1 contender match, as it should be. If Mir goes in and fights JDS and loses, and Cain fights Big Foot and wins, does he really deserve another title re-match? I don't know. I do know that the winner of Mir/Velasquez definitely deserves it though.

I don't see the comparison with Hunt & Carwin. Hunt is a K1 champion, that's the same title you hear Joe Rogan bark about when he hypes up Overeems striking. He's fought better strikers than JDS (Jerome le Banner, Mike Bernardo) and beaten them. Combine that with his iron chin and hands of stone and it's a very interesting matchup.
I like Hunt too but come on, that's not happening. I could see something like JDS/Mir for the title and then Cain/Hunt to determine the #1 contender but IMO he shouldn't get a title shot right away.
Hunt would get taken down and tapped in under 2 minutes by JDS. I have no idea what is going on in the heads of the Mark Hunt fan club when they actually want this fight. Just absolutely laughable that people think that is a realistic option.
He got embarrassed and tapped by Sean McCorkle, and that wasn't very long ago.

Great point. The Hunt supporters are living in a bizarro world where:
a) buy rates don't matter (Mir being a big name thanks to his Lesnar fights)
b) divisional relevance doesn't matter (Mir having a much higher rankings than Hunt)
c) A relatively well rounded fighter like Mir poses less challenges to Dos Santos than Hunt. People act like Dos Santos will simply oblige Hunt in a fire fight on the feet. If McCorkle can take you down and submit you easily, Dos Santos can too.
I just don't want to see the Mir/Velasquez fight broken up. I'm looking forward to that fight more than any potential fight with JDS. But in the end, Mir is the most likely option to step up.
Edit: Dana just tweeted that Mir/Cain will still happen. Guess they do have other plans than promoting Mir/Cain.
