I did a search, and came up with dozens of responses, but mainly on specific team boards. Could not find a Van one. Forgive me mods if I am posting this in the wrong area.
Well, to be frank, I am absolutely tired of playing drop ins. Watching 4 other guys chase the puck like 6 year olds is incredibly frustrating. I'm looking to join a club.
I play LD. I am a defensive defenseman (at least until legendary 3. I am superstar 1 now. My dman is an 84). I will pinch both in the offensive zone and at our blue line depending on the situation. But generally I'm a get in the passing lane, play my position stay at home dman. I consider myself very good, but only when other people are also very good and playing their position.
I have occasion got into games where everyone plays their position perfectly, and had a blast. However, they are few and far between. So, I am appealing to Hfboards to find a good (relatively good. I have no problem joining an amateur team if we play an x's and o's and positional hockey) club to join.
I will make mistakes. Playing D on nhl 12 is tough. But, all in all, I consider myself good.
If there are any clubs looking for a LD, or could even offer me a tryout, I'd love the opportunity. Thx guys.

I'll chime in here and say I'm also looking to join a team. I've played around 125 OTP games on 360 since the start of december, and I'm closing in on my legend card. I usually play forward.
Maybe we can start up a canucks forum team? I don't think there's been one for NHL 12.
like the current club? Inactive currently, hoping to find a few others here that would join.
If you meant my player stats : 330 games (legend 2), 457 goals, 311 assists 174-156 record.
edit: I should add, that there's another player who will join, so the team has 2 to start at least.
oh i used to play in clubs. one time i was in this club for the night. playing defense. then got kicked off cuz i was being too offensive... but i play drop-ins to improve my defensive skill.
OT but, I can totally see where you are coming from in regards to drop-in being frustrating.
Drop-in is beyond bad, the average player in there plays like they are:
A) 8 years old
B) New to hockey
C) High on Crack
I just quit out of frustration after losing 7-0 in drop in while my whole team chased the puck, D men attempt the bobby orr, get cranked, and my goalie lets in 75% of shot against.
I play RD and RW in my club. mostly a stay at home guy because my D partner is the second coming of Ray Bourque But I can also chip in offensively. Our club is just a bunch of close buddies, and we got a few guys who aren't very good so we usually end up settling for Pro Playoffs. I also looked for an HFBoards team but didn't see one. I saw a TML team but thats it.
Wouldn't mind being in a team too! That'd be cool. Originally wasn't into Be A Pro and just did 1v1 online play. I'm decent at 1v1. I think my record right now is around 108-46... good enough for rank ~4024.
I can probably play any position, it's just that all my players have the worst status possible so I might be useless for now.

I don't play on the EASHL at all, but I do play a lot of Versus games. I'm open to trying out the EASHL, though I'm a lot better when I control the play of my whole team.
