Well if he can take for example Lindman's spot, then I'm happy. Might also increase the chance of getting Bill Guerin, as they are friends.

I'd say that's just a bad excuse. OJ came to HIFK 'cause with them he has a chance to win, with SSK he had no chance for that. I would've expected OJ to say it straight but using his wife as an excuse is not very professional like. I think it's one of the reasons but main reason is that he want's to play in winning team and that's why he signed with HIFK.

But what's with Marian Hossa leaving Mora today?

Stanton came out of retirement huh? Interesting... he was the captain of the Frankfurt Lions in Germany for many years and they won the league title last year.

i see what you're saying... i guess my problem with the move is that it seems like a bit of a waste to use an import slot on a guy coming out of retirement, who may be an improvement over your 5th/6th d-man.

Paul Stanton will play in Malmö as an european (irish) so there won´t be any trouble with import rules. But the club announced today that Brett McLean will stay for the rest of the season, I guess Bill Guerin was too expensive...

interesting... another one of those import-avoidance loopholes.

Kaberle has sign with MODO a couple of minutes ago. He will play the rest of the season or until the lockout ends in #73.
