JUST SHOOT IT!!(A thread for all the scoring chances that never happened)

This thread is for every time you scream shoot it!! or stop passing and shoot!! or when a full power play goes by without a shot. name the game and what happened and get it off your chest!

Generally when I sit in the stands and listen to everyone around me screaming SHOOT I laugh cause usually...its a ****** time to shoot.

But lately...lot of missed opportunities from most of the veterans.

I agree we don't score nearly enough goals, being second in league with 3.39 goals per game is a disgrace.

I'm a little tired of seeing forced passes to Jagr personally.

Game vs. Ottawa (the loss). Jagr gets a partial breakaway, only to force a hopeless pass to a streaking Giroux, who is already at a poor angle. The pass is too far ahead of Giroux anyway, and a scoring chance is snuffed out.

yea lately everytime Roo or Jags enter the Offensive zone and start circling looking for each other instead of looking for a shot at the net..

This should be called the power play thread, they can pass 60 times on a power play but they aren't creating chances if they don't try to put it on net.

I love Giroux, but he has got to stop trying to force the puck to Jagr. He does it a least once or twice on every shift. He needs to just let it rip sometimes because he is in a better scoring area then jagr and has a shot capable of scoring from anywhere. He looks to pass 75% of the time he as the puck in the offensive zone and i would prefer to see closer to a 50/50 shoot-pass ratio.

i totally agree that we score a lot of goals, i just made this thread for people to vent when we go a whole pp without a shot or pass instead of shoot etc, just thought it would be a fun way to let people vent and see how many people see the same missed opportunities

Last game I was at, some dude a section over from me would yell shoot at the dumbest possible times. I'm sorry sir, but Rinaldo cannot shoot from the corner with his face pressed up against the boards.

This thread will have a lot of Giroux in it. He is allergic to shooting.

3rd period vs the Isles. Jagr drop pass to an onrushing Timo. Timo tries to pass it back to Jagr across the slot. Pass is easily picked off, and an up ice rush for the Isles ensues.

That definitely had me yelling at my tv, and sent my dog slinking into the bedroom thinking she was in trouble.

hahaha my cat hides when she sees me watching the game, i'm too loud and unpredictable for her. its funny how she's knows the difference btween us watching regular tv and when i'm watching the game(i think its my fiancee going into the bed room to watch tv that gives it away)

My cat wasn't overly impressed with me tonight. I try not to yell while she sits next to me but...SHOOT IT GIROUX!

every pp in nashville needed more pucks to the net and less to the corners and bad angle posistions.

This. If I had a nickel for every time I yelled SHOOT IT last night on the power play, I'd probably have enough to buy a Wawa coffee or so.
