Can you really call it cheating when basically every cycling pro does it to some extent?

It's the new football thread because the other one crossed 1000. But to eliminate confusion, the title should be changed to make that more clear. Something like "NFL Football - Alex Smith is God".

And Brady gets picked.

The most obnoxious part of the Broncos losing is going to be all the anti-religion bigots and militant atheists saying stupid things like, "I guess God didnt want Tebow to win" or, "Even God couldnt help Denver beat the Patriots" etc, etc, verbal diarrhea, etc....

I'm an atheist, I hate when people try to shove religion in my face. I'm not 'militant' about it though. Religion is a topic that breeds conflict. You have your beliefs, I have mine, just let it be so we can both be happy.

That being said, what Tebow is able to do with his limited skill set is pretty remarkable and it's difficult not to admire his heart and character.

Yes.

Why?

Because "every cycling pro" doesnt do it. Do quite a few? Yeah, many. But we know that it's not "every" because the people that have come clean have given their own thoughts on how many people do versus dont.

To be honest, IMO, what makes Armstrong 10X worse is the fact that he's denied it 4,482,847 times. Dude's a total liar.

That's fine, but Tim Tebow doesnt do that.

He says a prayer after all his touchdowns, big whoopti-do. It's is the exact same thing that probably somewhere between 38 and 85 other NFL football players have done in my lifetime.

And if you want to set the bar as low as saying, "I want to thank God for allowing us to win this game" after wins, then you're probably up to somewhere between 478 and 892 other NFL football players doingt the same thing in my lifetime.

I'm not anti-religion. But I am someone who doesn't really care to hear him thank god and not his teammates.

Looks like I'm not going to have to worry about that IF Brady plays like BRADY.

Steve Young and Jerry Rice are gonna destroy the Chargers! I'm calling 49 points at least!

And how bout those Devils!? That Brodeur guy looks pretty good. I think he's the front runner to win the Calder.

Nobody answered my jersey question.

I'll just get a medium replica. But I do prefer it to fit over a sweatshirt. Large it is!

I have a direct link to god. Well its really his email address. So if you have any questions I can ask.

That said, he, that is right HE, he doesn't like stupid question. He is really uptight and doesn't like to be bothered usually. But he really likes Chinese food and gets a chuckle over fortune cookies. Offer god Moo shu pork with extra pancakes and you'll be in favor forever.

Oh no, I wasn't specifically speaking about Tebow when I was making that post. Just in generalities. I think that looking down on someone because of their beliefs is incredibly petty and arrogant. Personally I admire someone that is extremely passionate about their beliefs even if they disagree with my own.

I just think that your faith or lack thereof is a personal matter should be treated as such.

What pisses me off is that John 3:16 commercial with the little kids that just aired. Marketing religion to children during a football game? If it was a PSA with 4 year old kids talking about Darwin and natural selection the Christian community would have a conniption about poisoning America's youth.

I disagree with everyone, even if I agree I will disagree. It makes life more interesting.

But boy O boy do I hate the Patriots. Not like Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Thomas Paine or Patrick Henry ....just those freaks in Foxboro
