In terms of ability to run an offense on the field, top to bottom, I don't think anyone touches Peyton.

You can't even tough receivers now. The passing stats now are like NHL stats in the 80's when the goalies still wore the heavy pads.

Guy just lost a game (blowout), Brady made a postseason record, but Tebow is the one getting more attention.

Three eras of football according to Bill Simmons.

Quote:
Absolutely. I'd argue that it's actually three different eras, though the Dead Receiver era (everything up until the early '90s), the Wide Receiver boom (when Cris Carter, Andre Rison, Andre Reed and everyone else caught up to Jerry Rice), and then, of course, the Touch Football era.

Why people hate Brady/Patriots? Just curious.
Because he wins to many football games.
" he does it with ah players.
" he is a bit smug at times. Winner
" Belicheck is his coach
Actually there is no reason to hate the guy he is one hell of a player.

Makes sense. I need some proof, but I`ll take your word.

I know I probably shouldn`t be the one arguing about this, but really? I mean, REALLY?

Pooch punt by Brady, on 3rd down, AFTER calling a timeout because you read blitz....up FIVE, ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE touchdowns with 3 minutes in the game.

Tom Brady

is

still

in

the

game

Von Miller only got that flag because he couldn't get in the backfield and break Brady's neck - my call on that game was - Pats are going to dominate but leave Brady in and he'll be hurt

50 percent, a better completion percentage than Tebow, but since I don't believe in Jesus and God - you won't read about me in the papers.

What a ridiculously unexpected game from Alex Smith. I was completely wrong this game.

Funny thing is if you asked me who was going to win at any point up until the 14 second mark, I would have said the Saints.

I was saying that before halftime. But then you have to remember that Denver had what? One healthy receiver I think. Not to mention, coach probably got sick of seeing dropped passes. I mean it's not like Tebow throws much to begin with, but it seemed like 1/3 of his attempts were dropped.

I tried to warn you that you underrated the Niners offense.

It's at least as likely that he overrated the Saints defense. They were like second to last in the entire NFL.

No.

1) The Giants are going to lose tomorrow
2) I'm not as convinced that the Pats win the AFC as (apparently) 99.99999% of America is.
