It was a beauty shot, get over it. Alffy now 4-4 this year in SO for a reason.

No, I will not get over it. It's happened too many times this year, that "beauty" 5-hole shot. Enough.

Groulx needs to fix this.

I don't understand the complaint here. Were we expecting Bourque to come in tonight and shootout the lights? The whole comment thing probably wasn't the reason, but it didn't help. After it PG checked to see if the deal was still on the table, it was, he made it. One game left on the suspension. I guess that was the key to the suspension.

He was traded in the third period because that's when the deal was finalized. It was a protocol thing.

I do know that no other GM in would touch that contract, well other than that genious PG!

I'm usually kinda harsh on Price but not tonight. And even in the shootouts. We don't have a chance to score 'cause we actually don't. When you are confronted to Michalek, Spezza and Alfredsson, and when you have Kaberle in your top 3, you are not suppose to win. We didn't.

Hasn't he been criticized for going down too quickly? Maybe he adjusted, and now his five hole is becoming weaker.

Put another way, we also only have 3 wins since the language issue was brought up.

The players don't care anymore because they know all we really care about is what language the coach speaks.

Tanking today just isn't the same as it was back in 1984. There is far more parity now and tanking can still be done with some well-placed wins along the way.

We don't need 4-5 years of that horrible treatment. We only need one and this is the year. Hopefully, if Grigorenko pans out, then we will rebound like Philadelphia and both Tinordi and Beaulieu will be NHL-ready by the time we can be Cup contenders.

After all, we could luck out. I was hoping for a regular time loss. But I don't see how this team can win another game this season. So I guess we could luck out.

I thought about starting a new thread for this, but in the interest of keeping things green, I'll put it here. Granted the audio on my TV was spotty, but it sure sounded that the crowd was getting quite agitated at points in the game. As the playoffs keep slipping away, does anyone else envision the Bell Centre as a nest of vipers, ready to attack their own? Gomez for sure, then/and who else? I'll be there middle of February when our fate will surely have been sealed. I can't imagine it's going to be a nice place to be.

Actually his problem has been low blocker side in SO, not five hole. I think you should be more focused on our shooters problems, not Careys. They can do anything they want with Carey, aint gonna matter if the team doesn't get 1 goal. 1 small goal.

That's if we pick Grigs. I have no faith whatsoever that PG will pick the clear choice at the draft table.

Great so hire Jean Perron so we'd start winning.

?

how about, "if our shooters managed to score just 1 goal, we get another chance"...

Price hasn't been good in the shootouts this year, but when you don't score, you can't win.
