Foursome Sent to Trenton

As posted on the Phantoms website:
http://www.phantomshockey.com/pressbox/archive/1071.asp

Watson, DiLauro, Domish and Nielsen were sent down to Trenton after last Saturday's practice. Now down to 29 players at camp. Does anyone know what the final roster number will be? Does anybody have any ideas on who else might be sent down before the begining of the season on the 16th?

As far as I know, only three (Domish, Neilsen & Watson) are under contract to the Titans. DiLauro should be bound for Wheeling, since he was traded there (after being traded to Pee Dee by the Titans) and is under contract to the Nailers.

Okay then , DiLauro is shipped to Trenton for further shipment to his final destination. Much like riding a Greyhound Bus. As to Phantoms Roster--I say thus: Due to having 3 semi veterans in Skolney, Seidenberg , and Pitkanen, I would chance lending out Slaney, and defense is:
  • Pitkanen and Seidenberg alternate gamely LD and RD
  • R. Jones LD and Ruggeri Rd
  • Printz LD and Skolney RD alternate gamely with Skolney LD and Wood Rd
  • Eager-Umberger-Meloche
  • Brunelle-Sharp-Mark Murphy
  • Ready-Abel-Stafford
  • extra forwards dressing- J. Gratton-B. Robinson
That leaves either not dressing or to the Titans---Voce,J. Smith, and like I said before I lend out Peter White and Boyd Kane, also send down Deschenes and maybe somebody else I am forgetting.

I still think we need to make one addition. It has to be a winger named 'Willing' so we can have a "Ready-Willing-and Abel' line.

Or, failing that, at least we have 'Kane and Abel' killing penalties together.

How about Ready, Eager, and Abel?

Freddy has heart and is a good skater - he must really improve his shot and passing in all zones to overcome his size because he will not win many battles in corners or in front.
Lets not get carried away with our prospects - it is easy to do at times with orange glasses as we are all guilty at times.
