Skinner is by far the biggest diver in the league, makes Crosby look like a saint.

At least Laich is taking draws and killing penalties. I wonder how Hunter values Ward.

He demoted him to the 4th line at one point.

A win is a win, I'll take it. Guys are playing into DH system. Hopefully GMGM makes a move to bolster the team to help the team down the stretch. Really needed this win.

Go Caps!

I thought the word on Ward was that he was hard on the forecheck and hit? He sure hasn't shown that here.

Such a poorly played game by the Caps, not seeing too much progress to be honest.

Uh first. We first have more wins, and on top of that have more non shootout wins. 9 to 3rd place in one win. I'll take it.

Their possession game is pitiful without Backstrom.

For the longest time, the Caps have had the most wins in the division and the least total losses and not been first in the division.

Hockey sometimes makes no sense.

As he should be, I mean hell .... at least Beagle runs the cycle quite well and hit's significantly more. He's next on my healthy scratch list.

No

His rep was he did all the little things to a t and wasn't very physical but came up big when it matters.

They can't exit the zone without icing the puck.

Even with Backstrom it was pretty pitiful. Without him it's officially abysmal.

I still don't understand the off season moves besides Halpern, but whatever. Lucky to win that one given how we had 0 sustained offense. I hope GMGM finds a way to turn some of these guys around for veterans with hands.

You guys should pay attention to the outlet plays, Ovechkin is usually the one getting it into the zone for the first line because Hamrlik and Kundratek can't get pucks out of the zone properly, usually just to the other teams defenseman.

Its hard to cycle when you can't get outlet passes period.

Also I think Brouwer should be first line not Semin...

It sure don't hurt. Right now we're 2-0 in the second half of the season. Need to cut down on the shots taken and clearing the zone. It is cardiac attack watching the team try to clear.
