According to the Journal if Belanger is a no go O'Marra centers Paajarvi and Lander while Eager stays on the fourth.
If that indeed turns out to be the case I just don't get this coaching staff. A real good opportunity to slide Eager up while O'Marra makes a pretty decent fourth line center.
Would much rather see a somewhat productive Eager with the Swedes
I'll be at the game tonight, so I'll be interested to see Voynov live. I think we all know his strengths, but I'll be interested to see how well he defends and whether he looks like he will develop a solid defensive game...ever.
He's a little lost defensively. Smaller player who isn't physical but is silky smooth. I was impressed with his game against Calgary.
Still hurts to think that all we are going to end up getting for Hemsky is a one dimensional player like Voynov, and thats best case scenario.

All I know is, Belanger should stay far away from Paajarvi. And O'Marra got Paajarvi points in the AHL. Then you add the Swedish connection, it's really the best way to get Paajarvi going.

I'd keep Belanger as far away from Paajarvi as possible as well, but I think Eager would benefit that line more than O'Marra would. I'd like to see Eager in a third line role for a while and see if he can muster anything.

The best way to get Paajarvi going is to play him on the 3rd line with two borderline NHLers?
How does that math work on that? I get paid my bet divided by -.1? So even if bet I still get paid out negative money!? That's a terrible way to bet, I'll take the 110% team please!
driving 1 1/2 hrs in -25 weather to attend the game tonight. I really hope we leave feeling good for a change. I'm afraid that Penner is going to attack the Oilers tonight like they're a big stack of pancakes. It'll be interesting to see how many cheers Sam gets and if anyone boo's Eager
Voynov has opened alot of eyes this year and is unlikely to be moved especially for a UFA to be, surprised by all the talk about him.
Hemsky is still young but the guy is just so fragile. I would highly doubt LA takes a serious run at him or is willing to send significant pieces back. Kings need a scorer and he seems to be more of a set up man. I hope LA has no interest in him at all, just doesn't seem to be the right fit.
Would gladly send Penner back straight up for Hemsky tho
The game in a nutshell: Dubnyk lets in his usual 1 or more weak goal a game, Oilers get behind early, try to get back in the game but it's too late, Oilers lose their 6th straight.
