You guys see this quote by Matthias?

Quote:
"Itís an honor to put that jersey on night in and night out. I donít take any of it for granted and Iím just enjoying the ride, really. Like my dad said at the beginning of the year, youíre on a winning team, donít worry about anything, just worry about winning and enjoy the ride. Thatís what a lot of guys are doing. You see our team, thereís not a lot of selfishness, thereís a lot of pride in this room for winning and we all want to make the Florida Panthers proud and all the fans.Ē
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

We should ask the Bruins for mercy, I'm afraid this could get ugly with Clemmer in goal.

Oh well.. GO CATS GO!!!

LOL @ the people complaining about Clemmer. Just LOL. He's the only reason why we have any points the last three games. Against the Rangers he was stellar, got a point. Against the Canucks he was very good, got two. How many goals did they give him in support? I'm worried about the forwards A LOT more than Clemmer. Some of you are ridiculous.

Yeah, I'll agree with you here.

The last 3 starts, he's faced 3 very good teams and he's basically stolen 3 points, to be fair. The last game was whatever to me, but he certainly can't be faulted for the loss.

If Markstrom would be doing what Clem has done lately, I think everyone would be happy. He still allows some questionable goals, but he's also been coming up with some big saves, as well.

The team needs to start playing better in front of the goalies.

Any time a team isn't scoring goals, the goalie's performance is amplified and then micro-analyzed. It happens all of the time. I am far from Clemmensen's biggest fan, but he has been doing alright. Bad goals here and there but it could be worse. As has been noted, the team simply isn't helping him out.

Can we please get an offensive explosion with 3 goals tonight? Is that asking too much?

atleast Mike Green is out of the lineup for a significant amount of time for the Caps.

Tonight is going to be very tough. Clemmer needs to be in top form.

We're also going up against Rask who is 3-1-0 against us in his career with a .975 save % and 2 shutouts. Those are some scary numbers but let's hope we can add one more to his L column tonight. He's quietly been the best goalie in the NHL this season, he just doesn't play much.

TANK!

Weak goal Clemmer, very long distance without screen.
