Well looks like I'm available for tonight after all, because the coop navigator server is down.

I'll make Spezza, Daugavins, Potvin, MacStache in that order.

For Spezza19:

Awesome man, thanks for that!

Doesn't shoot enough is better than the turnovers in my opinon. Turnovers thing is getting older. The not shooting enough you still hear constantly yet....20 goals.

I was asking how it came up and when? I only recall seeing that senatroll face pop up as a joke in a GDT in the last couple weeks. How long has this been a running thing and how did it come to be the main idea for our playoff push avy's? What else was it up against?
The Senatroll thing has kinda kicked around since last season when we were trolling the teams that were in the playoff race. This year we're still trolling, but we're exceeding expectations. This thread was a pump up thread for the playoffs and I suggested we get a playoff push avy going, then a few of us agreed on the basic concept (Senatrolling) and three designs were thrown out. I happened to be the one who went into mass production earliest haha. And yeah we are the first playoff push avy board. But you know what, somebody's gotta be first, and if the Senatrolls backfire, oh well. I ain't even mad.

Sounds pretty solid and united as a board. So the whole thing is that we just keep on smiling and staying positive despite the whole hockey world being against us? Just keep moving along and proving people wrong, showing we are for real. Great concept, and great job Canadian, they all look great!

Good timing too as I was getting board rotating random small and unclear pics as my avy. Playoff push avy's are fun and flashy and will bring everyone together on the boards hopefully posting more frequently.
I gotta say I am a bit weary of breaking them out this early, but it goes hand in hand with the season the Sens are having. People will be surprised to see em and if we raise some eyebrows than great. Really hope we're further backing the push rather than jinxing it. And really when it comes down to it, what's the difference of a month or so anyway? You usually start seeing boards doing them around the trade deadline.

Maybe, just maybe though we have em as a temporary playoff push thing which would be kind of new around HF, and than put new and different ones together for the playoffs if we were to make them?

Just a thought....

Canucks did this last season I think. They had a theme for us against the league (I think?) and then a Win it for Manny one.

Also Daugavins avatar is ready:

Oh yeah good call, remember seeing some solid avy's on their board all playoffs. That was a good idea and makes sense since a lot can still happen between now and the second week of April. There would potentially be a new idea and concept to go on for the playoffs. Besdies, our board has a histroy of more bold and serious looking avatars for the playoffs, the radar ones we had a couple years ago were amazing.
At the very least we'd have to edit the current ones to say Playoffs '12

Anyway these rock for now and I'm glad we got something for the stretch drive and set an example possibly for other teams.

An idea for someone to use (I may alternate with it as well) a Dean Brown one saying "expert says": The NHL's Cardiac Kids

He's said that about 50 times this season....

But they weren't supposed to be cardiac kids

Alright, so than just take the opposite statement. What was Dean Brown saying at the begining of the season BEFORE he started using the cardiac kids statement?

Maybe something like "Sens are trailing" or "team can't play 60 minutes"

Your browser is probably just slow loading all the GIFs, I have the same issue anytime I look at my photobucket album full of these avatars. It looks good on my end though!

No problem!

It's actually not that much work, I can create most of these avys in 5 minutes. Only ones that take long are special requests for players/management who I haven't MS Painted.

If we are making it I'm sticking to this, it's probably the best theme avatar I had because it fits us so freaking well
