Just finished my last grad school application. I now have approximately four months to prepare for the crushing blow of failure.

Haven't had a chance to watch that video yet - how many mullets are there? I put the over/under at 4.

Now, put the jersey down, pull your pants back up and step two steps away from the jersey before the mrs. walks in and makes the whole situation awkward.

VERY nice! I've had my Kes jersey since before the Olympics & I'm getting that itch to get a Canucks 3rd jersey now with Edler or Hodgson on the back.

Woohoo! Job interview on Thursday. If all goes well, I will get to make the scenic journey from south east Vancouver to beautiful downtown Whalley every day!

Best part of my new jersey - totally free. Left my previous employer (who had an employee points program) and one of the options was a customized NHL jersey. Awwww yeah.

Thank you.

To be honest, I'm not sure how I'm going to approach the interview.

The position itself is not 100% ideal, but it's with an organization that I would LOVE to work for and it's a foot in the door. However, I recently submitted a bunch of grad school applications and I feel like I should be upfront about that, but at the same time I don't want to torpedo my chances because I'm reasonably confident that I will get the job.

I would be honest and say you're considering attending grad school, but that you're not sure if that's the path you want to take at this time. Say that its a plan of yours in the future, but that you'd be dedicated to the position if you got it.

I wouldn't volunteer that information unless the interview brings up the question.

I disagree. Unless he's going to be burning bridges when he leaves, he should withhold that information. There's really no reason he should hinder his chances of landing the job by telling them.

It don't want to give away too much info about the position, just in case one of the people in charge might be reading here, but it would potentially burn bridges if I were to quit 6 or 7 months in. However, going to grad school would mean moving across the country, so I'm not all that worried. It's more that I genuinely respect the organization and don't want to **** them over by being deceitful or less than up front.
