I think its hysterical that Vancouver retired Stan Smyl's number. That's like us retiring Don Maloneys number.

Hell of a game there. Hodgson is becoming a force.

Just heard on NHL Network that we have a scout at the Montreal-Toronto game. Wonder who they are looking at from Montreal?

And Toronto ties it less than a minute later on a breakaway. Good stuff.

John Tavares is an animal, outside of his line they have no depth scoring though

that video is really well done. I don't quite understand why all the threads about it kept getting locked. It's a hockey video, it has some relevance.....

At least a dozen NHL teams scouting Coyotes-Lightning tonight. Didn't see anyone I recognized from Rangers.

Long time captain, heart and soul player and community leader. More like Graves.

That was actually a pretty ridiculous bounce. Not sure what a goalie is expected to do in that situation. The only thing I could think of is to come out a little further.

Dayum, just noticed Paps has 42 points on the season. More than any Ranger. Kinda funny.

If it's Montreal I'm going with two possibilities;

1. Travis Moen
2. Hal Gill

Both are players that would fit the style of the Rangers, although Gill is going to fetch a nice return. Moen would fit right in with Boyle and either Prust or Feds.

Florida and Tampa Bay could find themselves in some legal trouble if a bill proposed to the Florida State Senate passes.

HF Thread

The bill basically states that any arena funded by state money needs to add a homeless shelter on days where the arena is not in use. If the arena's don't comply, the state will take back all of the money they funded to the teams. Lightning ~$32million and Panthers ~$31 million.
