Good theory. That's the only thing that makes sense.

Wolski should be scratched after that dreadful performance against Montreal. I can't think of any other candidates. Rupp had a rough game too but he'll be needed against the likes of McGrattan and Tootoo. Mitchell has been decent and scored a goal in his last game.

Been wanting to see Hagelin - Stepan - Gaborik for a long time now.
I think Hagelin's speed re-ignites Gabby.

Prepare to see a lot of 2 on 0 breakaways for that line

Preds are one of my favorite west teams. I guess because they also play a solid defensive game and rely on great goaltending. Plus, their jerseys look so much better this year.
That being said, TEAR 'EM UP tonight, Rangers! Richards is due for a big game. 3-1 Rangers final.

Strange as it seems, I think the Rupp line will stand out today..
Not sure if it's positive or negative though..

Anisimov played exceptionally well with Prust and Shelley last year. Maybe Torts is trying to put him back in his comfort zone.

Gotta watch out for that defense. They're a great transition team.

Just saw that Linback is in net for Nashville. Obviously they play their back-up against us...
3-1 Loss, Linback with 39 saves.

Amongst the names on the Preds backline, Roman Josi. Logged 20 minutes last night after Suter went down. Solid youngster, nice hands, but watch that Garden ice rookie

Hopefully we can control the puck at that speed though. When we come on fast down into the other team's zone it tends to get finicky.

Dubi - Richards - Gaborik
Hagelin - Stepan - Callahan
Wolski - Anisimov - Fedotenko
Prust - Rupp - Mitchell
These are the lines I suggested in another thread. Ruckus pointed out that Torts would never play Wolski over Boyle and I agree, but what do you think?

Why is that a joke? The Boyle line has been our best line the past few games...and that shouldn't be. Anisimov has been dreadful the last 6 games or so. Kid needs a wake-up call.

The Rangers will either have 55 shots and no goals.. or 25 shots and 3 goals... Thats how it works with them against backups it seems..

How exactly is Arty on the 4th line, a joke? The kid hasn't registered a point since December 22nd. It is now January 17th, that's almost a month. Why shouldn't he be on the 4th line?
