Just put the lines from yesterdays practice up there. That should be good enough barring some trade happening before gametime (which I kinda doubt happens now).

Yay, another loss. Atleast we're gonna get a decent draft!

Good lord, the Flyers are trying for their season high matching 3rd consecutive home win? Their season high is 3? Ouch.

Should be a fun game...kinda surprised this isn't on national TV...seems like every time we play a East team like the Flyers or Penguins it's always on Versus.

I can't see the Wild getting a win tonight. I should bet some vcash.

On a side note, it will be Powe's return to Philadelphia.

I'm going to the game tonight and wearing my Powe #14 Wild jersey. My friend is wearing a Flyers #36 jersey, and I am hoping that sitting next to her will keep me from getting a beer bath.

I really hope he keeps his two game point streak going though.

Offshore you can lay $200 to win $100 tonight for a Philly win. Seems like a sound investment to me.

Hopefully this one is over by 9 so I can watch Justified...

Possible trios (from yesterday's practice):

Heatley - Cullen - Johnson
Powe - Brodziak - Setoguchi
McIntyre - Peters - Clutterbuck
Staubitz - Wellman - McMillan

They had Wellman at center over McMillan? Seems strange since Wellman hasn't played center at all this year, and hasn't even been taking faceoffs when his center is thrown from the dot.

Yeah that is strange. I'm thinking maybe they want to see how he fares at center tonight and if he does well they let him try a top 6 role. Obviously with Koivu out we have got to try some drastic measures, and Wellman has been productive when given minutes. Also that would allow us to keep Brodziak on the 3rd line and not kill him with huge minutes like the last time Koivu was out. Now he is going to be playing second line minutes+pk+pp. That's going to significantly bump up his TOI. I can't imagine Peters or MacMillan are going to be thrown out there more then they have to be. Peters is solid on faceoffs, but that's about it IMO.

Testing Wellman at center so we could see him as a 2C later makes some sense, but is still very surprising. I would have expected McIntyre to get a shot at that first as he seems more defensively responsible, and that's something we need out of our centers.

Overall these lines are "so crazy they just might work." But probably not.

Yeah I'm really not liking these lines too much at all. I get the idea he is going for, but I would rather go like this..

Heatley - Cullen - Wellman
Johnson - Brodziak - Setoguchi
Powe - McIntyre - Clutterbuck
Staubitz - Peters - McMillan

Really Johnson and Clutterbuck could switch and it would be fine, but I think these lines give us 3 solid lines capable of offense. The 4th line should play 5-8 mins and Peters should see PK time. Cullen and Wellman have played really good together and I have yet to figure out why Yeo doesn't keep them together. I think putting Setoguichi with Johnson and Brodziak would give him the confidence to know he is "the guy" on that line and to shoot more, while still being with two effective players. I think that the 3rd line would play great defense and hit and also be capable of possessing the puck in the offensive zone with occassional dangerous looks and really just bring a lot of energy.

Harding gets the start tonight. 4th in a row. Not a surprise given how well he played against the Blues.

Had to write it out because I didn't know half the numbers.

Well, give Yeo credit for being creative. Probably will work better than anything else this year.

I like Seto on the "third" line, of course we don't have a top line, so...

The third and fourth lines literally look like 5th/6th lines from a training camp.

If the grinders in the top six play like grinders and not scorers, Wild could win. If not, this is going to be a whole new level of blowout.
