Vladimir Tarasenko confims he's playing in 2012 WC's

Vladimir Tarasenko pretty much confims he's playing in 2012 World Championships in Sweden/Finland, which is the Qualification for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi

Looks like his impressive play is earning him a spot on Team Russia for 2014!!!!!!

He has said if he does come to North America, it will be after the World Championships this summer. He has always said he wants to play in the NHL someday

Considering he has been top 2 or 3 Russian player in KHL this year, this isn't very surprising.

Someone should create another thread with a very unobvious suggestion: "Evgeny Kuznetsov confirms he's playing at 2012 WC's"

The qualification for 2014 is not the 2012 WC itself, but will be the IIHF ranking after the 2012 WC, which will also take into acount the previous three WChampionships and the 2010 olympics.

I said these are the 2014 qualifier's (which set placing) which they're, so I'm right. So stop following me around, responding to my posts

Hey so tarasenko is playing, is kuznetsov? i wouldnt mind seeing the kuznetsov tarasenko duo pair up just like 2011 world juniors.
Radulov Kuznetsov Tarasenko that'd be cool.
kovalchuk Burmistrov shipachyov
shirokov morozov zherdev
zaripov zinoviev filatov

russian forwards 2012 wc? any russians correct me?

Ovie will come too if they lose in the Playoffs, and Evgeny Artyukhin played on the same line with Tarasenko, and now are teammates on SKA in KHL. I can see Kuznetsov on the team definitely

Artyukhin is having a great season this year and will likely make 2014 if he can keep this up.

Tarasenko is also #2 in KHL in Goals (only 20 years old!) 1 behind Radulov for first place. He's going to Olympics 100%

How many times i puked when i saw comments like this.....
Artyukhin wont play for Russia again unless they bring Bykov back....
all this guy is good for is warming up the bench in penalty box
why bring this goon when so many young guys 10x times better than him....for his size even his fighting sucks
on Tarasenko line in SKA ?? oh so 4th line.... yeah hes definitely making his way to 2014

No way Filatov makes it...this season in KHL wont be enough to see if hes got all sorted out...he will need another full one.
I dont see him making it to the level he was projected..sorts himself out he will be a solid player, not - bust

He was on the 2010 Summer Olympic Roster for Russia, so I guess you know more than the Team Russia Hockey officials right? He's playing with Tarasenko not only in KHL for SKA, but also on the same line for Team Russia in the 2011 World Championships (he was a beast against Canada and they had several elite talents), and will be again this year in Sweden/Finland.

That's why Evgeny has stepped it up in the KHL (Big Ice) this year and has been impressing them. Scored another Goal today! So relax, professor.

2010 Summer Olympic Camp... yes he was better in those days when played in NHL, no wonder Tampa was trying to get him back

yes 2011 WC = Bykov , had a fight in Euro hockey tour with Fins, Bykov liked that, said it in interview, thats why he took him.

not saying he's no good, want to point out theres a ton of other guys who deserve to play in WC and are doing much better than him in KHL.

which regards Olympic team forget it...here i become a professor () and tell you 100% he wont be there.
