a lot of players play differently when they're wearing a full cage

doesn't matter if it's college or jr B

Its a one way street with Leaf fans and young talent. Mess and others were trashing Stalberg when he was here and now hate/ignore the young core the Leafs have right now. You can't go loosing sleep and slamming the organization for loosing players like Hayes (who didn't want to play here) and Stalberg.

Your own post alone proves it isn't a one way street.

Tyler Biggs was suppose to be a top 5 pick and dropped down. Don Cherry loved this kid too.

Don't think he was ever a top 5 pick

Think he was talking about CSS' mid-term rankings..Biggs was #5 on the North-American skaters list.

Not so long ago they were burning Stalberg in effigy on the Hawks board and lamenting what a horrible deal it was.

turning Stalberg into a 1st and a 3rd is fine. having Versteeg would have been fine too, he's a good player. it simply didn't work out here.

That's not the same thing.

Why are we talking about Biggs? We traded the Kaberle pick for him...
