I really like the mean in McIlrath but that still was a bad hit. Got to stay away from the head shots and better to learn that now than later.

Danny Hobbs, the other Rangers college draftee, scored a hat trick tonight against Vermont. Doubt he gets a ELC, but worth a shot on for Whale next year.

I would imagine he will get a AHL contract like Max Campbell did.
