Well if this is true he's def there to scout nashville PG/BG rarely if ever trade within the eastern conference. I remember reading before x-mas that the habs had some intrest in Jordan Tootoo, but it was off one of those bogus sites

I wouldn't do this. Weber will cost us an arm and a leg IF he signs with us. Plus we can resign Subban for way less than what Weber will get. And that first rounder will likely be high this yr so I don't wan the Habs to trade it for anything.

Weber for Weber! Just give him Shea's number, nobody in Nashville notices, and the Preds get to save millions of dollars. Everybody wins!

Weber is the best d-man in the league, I would absolutely love him on the team even if it cost us 8mil a year but the reason he hasn't signed yet in Nashville is that he wants to make sure the team is commited to winning. I don't think the canadiens fits the kind of team he would wanna join.

One possibility is that Nashville might be interested in AK46 so the brothers can be together. Sergei is working out quite well in Nashville.

Maybe Nashville's GM offered somebody and PG is going to check him out with Pearn and other scouts?

I feel that there is a good likelihood that AK46 will be traded this year.

Well, Captain Kellowna is his best buddy...just saying...and he grew up a Habs fan...just saying...

All kidding aside, if PG has another deal up his sleeve, it's not gonna be a major deal, we could all hope that Nashville is gonna trade Webber or Suter, but not too likely....

Giving up to much....Montreal is not in the position to win a cup without Subban and Ak and with Weber.

This trade sacrifices the future and ensure Montreal stays a mediocre team!

You want to trade AK because you think he won;t be back next year, that I can understand but to mortgage the future for Weber doesn;t make sense for Montreal as they are not in a position to seriously contend even if they make the playoffs!

I'm definitely not opposed to a Colin Wilson however where does he fit on the team?

Desharnais, Plekanec are 1 and 2, Eller is developing quite nicely and Wilson needs to be a top three C.

So either move Eller to the wing or trade him I guess.

That being said....

I'd prefer something like AK Weber Kaberle Beaulieu and a 1st for Weber.

Now this makes Montreal better without sacrificing too much of the future.

S. Weber Markov
Subban Gorges
Diaz Emelin
Gill

I know it's a pipe dream!

Why not use our 2012 #1st pick and take Griffin Rinehart same thing IMHO.

He basically has from now to the end of the season to save his job. If I were him, I would personally scout two-three games a week until it's done.
