If he is just looking for picks and prospects why would he go to the game? I know hf values picks and prospects more than roster players but they don't actually play in the games

You could have a roster player AND a pick or prospect. Scouts were at Holland's games lately.

I'm speculating here but it has to be one of:

Brown (Unlikely), Jack Johnson, Penner, or Stoll

Penner or Stoll are usless for us

Brown I doubt they trade and Johnson doesn't make much sense cause that would probably mean PK is headed to LA.

Maybe they want Hal Gill, pair him back with Scuderi

Moving Gill to a contender would be a nice thing to do, even if the return is minimal (or Penner straight up ), but the Kings have a tougher time scoring than defending, but I'm sure they'd be happy to move Penner for anything.

That's for sure. We already screwed up with the Kaberle acquisition, better not pick up Penner

Considering Kings can't score and that Penner is UFA next year and that the Kings have good amount of cap room for the deadline, I don't see the need to move Penner.

Wouldn't be surpirsed if the Kings are looking at Andrei. They need scoring. They aren't shy to deal at the deadline(1st and Teubert for Penner). Let's hope Penner's crappy play hasn't scared them into making a similar deal.

Jack Johnson would probably cost Subban but one thing to consider for Johnson, in his career with Kings, he is a -85. Hopefully a guy like Clifford is what he has his eyes on. I always thought Johnson was a stud but his +- numbers are a bit worrisome.

But seriously, the only way I can see a trade involving subban is if a subban+ can get us a shea weber with an extension, no way we move him for something else.

The only player I'd trade for Penner is Scott Gomez. And I wouldn't resign Penner this off-season.

I'd offer Plekanec and Weber for Voynov, 1st, Clifford and Penner(cap dump).

Johnson rocks - but I remember something strange with him and his GM a couple of seasons ago? General consensus was he is a bit of a head case.

Think he grew up a Habs fan as well.
