The corner has been turned over the last several weeks, the trend line is incrementally, but steadily, creeping upward.
As suggested, when the second half arrived, the team had time to colease and hopefully injured players returned, along with 40 or so games to truly learn the new coach's system, the team identity would emerge.
As such, worry about Zach, worry about early season failings, etc., while valid, needed to be taken in context, not put on hyper-steroids.
Road ahead will be more challenging and nothing is guranteed.
But I'm not worried. In fact, I'm confident. As I was in August, in September (remember those "horrrible" pre-season performances ) in November and so on.
Too many prideful vets for this team not to be a factor this season...and post-season.
8th place in the league last year was 93 points. That would be an 18-15-5 record for the remainder of the season.
I think we can do it. Not going to check our sched and try and pencil wins and losses or anything, but the group seems to be playing a little better as of late and hopefully can result in some consistent wins the rest of the way. Keeping teams to a low goal total is a great sign.
