As long as their is a stick in his hand to commit a penalty with it!

I think a stick was involved when Garrett Haar committed something with your girlfriend.

Yeah, but I don't think he's physically capable of doing the proper amount of damage, so I hope he doesn't get the chance. In a fight, that is.

I know it will never happen, but I still think tonight would be THE perfect night to just repeatedly hit Bourque at every chance. Not fight him in the first minute of the game in a hail wild throws of which none land, and call it even steven.

Every player finish every check all game long. Led by our RD as he tries to make his way into the zone. Boarder line boards = an Erskine specialty. Make him think someone is going to fight him at every chance. If Dale wants PPs, use his fear to get them.

Since lord knows, we cannot draw penalty's on the up an up to save our ass.

Dale may need to work the refs this year. Or Ted needs to write a big fat check. At least the Semin dives are under control.

So do we have confirmation on he the team chose to respond? Will it be a stinging lecture from Alzner or a strongly worded letter from Laich?

My money's on Brouwer saying it's a shame they don't play 5 more times this season.

Well there's 9 tv timeouts... so hopefully the coach doesn't shield Bourque too much from the stern talking by having him on the bench around the 14, 10, and 6 minute marks!

edit: that warden comment is gold on many levels

All I know is that Buffalo has not been the same team and Miller has not been the same after Lucic ran him and none of the Sabres responded.

How they respond tonight will be quite telling of what this team is made of.

More so than the Caps. Our team (Alzner caugh) will politely ask the other team not to shoot the puck at our goalie and crash the net. If they dont listen, we will surely talk about them being meanies in the post game

Wow. Big update. I hadn't seen this quote before, but apparently our hero and enforcer regrets that he didn't say anything. Let's hope he took a lesson from Alzner in LA and tells Bourque how he feels.

With Alzner getting a fight card established taking on the hated Downie, it may be now Laich dishing out the stern talking to's.

I sure hope the boys didn't pitch in and get Bourque a fruit basket.

The way I read it, it was Erskine and not Ovechkin who regretted not saying anything. Ovechkin said that "It was kind of on purpose".

I would like a win, but more importantly I want Bourque knocked out of the game.

Maybe Alzner will talk him to death where he can't take it anymore and he quits

I expect a good stern talking too for Bourque tonight!

Seriously thought I'm guessing Erskine or Hendricks challenges, they fight and we win. Or they fight and we get beat down.
