Nice.

Soon empty seats as well. And I don't mean the bench cause the box is full.

I can't believe Erskine of all people said he would have "said" something to Bourque. I truly hope when he spoke those words he kind of inflected his voice on "said" and meaning actions "say" all that is needed.

We gonna win tonight. Bork is gonna get his ass handed to him. OV is gonna have a monster multi point game and idiots wishing for him to be traded will have very little to talk about.

Habs fan here.

I'm finding it surreal that every post is about Bourque, with practically nothing about the Habs as a team. Maybe it's because there's no previous bad blood between our two teams, but it's like the game itself has disappeared into the background and shifted focus onto one player. None of us in Montreal really know the guy yet, but I do feel bad about what happened to Backstrom and hope he recovers. Take a shot at Bourque, but please don't kill the guy - we need all the help we can get!

Hopefully this is all because no one wants to see their printed pre-game verbal threat factored into their eventual suspension..We can dream, no?

There is no doubt in my mind that Erskine does not mean "say something" literally. Alzner, I'm sure, did when talking about Johnson. Erskine knows his role; "saying something" for him has certain implications.

It would be helpful to have Ryan Mcdonagh on your blueline wouldn't it?

I doubt Bourque fights Erskine, that could turn out to be really bad for him. I expect to see him drop them with Hendricks, Chimera or Brouwer as soon as he gets the chance to get it over with and avoid Erskine.

What? And give up our offensive powerhouse, Gomez? I can safely say no forward in the league can match his scoring consistency!

The only reason anyone gives a **** about the habs is watching that Flames like train wreck happen.

I could care less about a win that piece of garbage Bourque took out an all star on one of the most meaningless plays ever.

We weren't expecting to see Bourque again so soon.
Nothing against the Habs, but hope that **** gets his **** kicked in.

It's a road game so, basically, the only likely entertainment factor is potential retribution. Nothing against the Habs, just the way it goes.

I guess I understand this. This was the exact feeling most Habs fans had when Chara nearly killed Pacioretty last year. There's no excuse for awful hits - intentional or not - so I won't make excuses for a guy who's now on my team. I can only say that even though I still dislike Chara, I've noticed his play has become noticeably cleaner since that infamous hit. He learned something, at least. I hope Bourque is as smart and becomes a better player as a result of the harm he caused.

I'd usually wish you a good, clean game. Not sure what to say in this weird case...

Bourques already shown twice he doesn't learn from his mistakes, anyone who expects him to learn now, is probably on par with Bourque intelligence wise

i'm not for goonery, and would never wish a player injured. but i sincerely hope to see the team goon the hell out of the game tonight, and go at bourque every single time his skates touch the ice. every shift.

they can sacrifice two points to grow some spine and pull together as a team.

If somebody on this team doesn't do something to Bourque, I don't think I'll be able to root for the Caps anymore.

Somebody please grow a pair.
