Sorry man. You do not win a scoring title with the worst shot in the league. I'll give you the benefit of english likely being your second language.

For a long time, Marc-Edouard Vlasic had this thread won. When he'd shoot, it was like letting the air out of a balloon.

Any Leafs fan saying any name other than Matt Lombardi hasn't been paying attention.

How can a guy that has scored 10+ goals in every season he's played (aside from last year where he had 8 in 66 games), including a 20 goal season and two 17 goal seasons, have one of the worst shots in the league?

He shouldn't be mentioned here.

Now Luke Schenn. That's a guy with a pretty bad shot.

Also from the Leafs: Carl Gunnarsson, Mike Brown, and Phillipe Dupuis.

Paajarvi probably has the worst power on his shot for Edmonton players. Kurtis Foster has the worst accuracy I've ever seen

I might get some flak for this but, as much as I love the guy, Saku Koivu just has a terrible shot. He can bury it once in a while but most of the time he's better off trying to deke it.

Matt Carle, AKA "weakwrists".

75% of his shots from the point get blocked.

Not even joking.

For being a forward with the role of scoring goals, yes his shot is lousy. That does not exclude the fact one can score anyways.

Many here suggests stay at home d-man with the worst shot, but they aren't supposed to score in the first place.

If comparing expectations, role and the quality of shot, I think Daniel's shot is poor.

I know a 14 year old kid that has a harder shot than Brian Lee. Then again, that kid is over 6 feet tall and weighs somewhere between 150-175 pounds...

No love for Holmstrom in this thread? The guy is a tip-in machine, but wow is his shot ever a lemon.

The anatomy of a Gomez shot is something along the lines of: Picks up the puck in his own zone, uses super speed to fly past everyone and unleashes his devastating 23 mph wrist shot into the goalies chest.

Sounds a lot like Jason Blake to me, at least with the Leafs. Love the guy, but he hits the crest so often.

If Dan Sexton was still in the league it would be him for sure.

Has anyone seen Vlasic shoot? It seems like opponents shrug it off.... Dunno how accurate his shot is because it keeps getting blocked.

Douglas Murray has a howitzer... it just goes everywhere BUT the net, so when he scores, it's pretty funny.

This year Subban's shot has been pretty bad accuracy wise, but he does have pretty sweet power on it.

At least hitting the goalie is something. I love Michael Del Zotto but Jesus can that guy really blow a shot. It's almost comical in some games.

The sedins dont have the worst shot in the league, but their shots are pretty bad.

Jared "more talented than his brothers" Staal will never make the NHL, but he's an AHLer and a former 2nd round draft pick, but his slapper is just AWFUL. See this video for proof, Jared starts shooting at the 0:44 mark:

I have seen 10 year olds with better slappers, that slapper is eerily reminiscent of Charles Barkley's golf swing. I still don't get how this guy was a 2nd round pick.
