It propably ain't the worst, but everytime I see Saku Koivu shoot the puck it's a very weak shot, well at least most of the times but he still has 9 goals so.

Jason Blake probably has the worst shot on the Ducks. He usually just fires it right into the goalie's chest from a bad angle. I'm still not quite sure how he managed to beat Luongo last game...

as a leafs fan, i have no clue how he scored 40 goals in one season on the isles .. i was so happy when we got him ... then i realized my sister could shoot the puck better

Luke Schenn, Keith Aulie, and Gunnarsson have the worst shots on our team.. Gunnar is accurate enough but it's such a softie

And Aulie and Schenn shouldn't even shoot the puck if there is an empty net, they should always look to pass, terrible shots.

As far as best shots in the league go, I think we have one of those guys: Franson. This guy can let it rip from just about anywhere in less than a second of getting the puck and it will still go through traffic.

For big, strong guys Mark Stuart and Hal Gill have 2 of the weakest shots I've ever seen.

For one of the most effective goalscorers ever to play the game, Teemu Selšnne has surprisingly weak shot. And by that I mean it lacks power. Obviously it's accurate, quick and he can shoot from every position... So, you don't have to be Kovalchuk to score lots of goals. Daniel Sedin is another example of a guy who can score but doesn't have the hardest shot you've seen.

For absolutely worst shot, I have to mention Tim Gleason. It literally hurts to see him take that slapshot and his wrister is even worse!

Ballard. His slap shot is a whimper and his wrister, albeit good in itself, has a 2-3 seconds charge time.

Brad Stuart for accuracy.
Think he misses about 9 out of 10 shots from the blue line, and that might be generous.

Ryan O'Byrne has a deadly combination of a very slow windup and no accuracy. He should be blocked more often but when you're so far off the goal, you'll miss the block more often than not.

I'd say Andrei Kostitsyn, but he fans so much that I hardly even see him shoot with his god-awful aim.

Rusty Klesla. He can fire the puck with a lot of force behind it, just terribly inaccurate

Del Zotto never really seems to hit the net with his slap shot, or come anywhere close to it for that matter

It's hard for me to tell if his shot is bad or if he just has the worst shot selection in history.

I wanted to say Aaron Rome, but some how he's managed to get a 15% shooting percentage. He was 2% last year. You can't explain that.

I don't think there can be a better description of Gomez's game than this one. Gomez is Wayne Gretzky until he reaches the other team's blue line. I remember when the Habs got him, he scored a pretty nice one-timer in his first or second game, and there I thought the criticism about his shot was overblown by Rangers fans. Scotty has been proving me wrong ever since.
