Paul Martin's slapshot doesn't get blocked or deflected, it gets intercepted.

For absolutely worst shot, I have to mention Tim Gleason. It literally hurts to see him take that slapshot and his wrister is even worse!
You seriously post a multiple goal leader and 600+ goal scorer as the worst shot in the league? Like really? Really? Like really?

This just in.... Weakest player in the NHL... Chara.... He is tall but skinny.

Rob Scuderi. Great guy, but his shot couldn't break an egg.

If comparing expectations, role and the quality of shot, I think Daniel's shot is poor.
I think you're over-thinking the thread dude.

Brian Lee single-handedly negates offensive opportunities as soon as he touches the puck.

Tim Gleason...wide or blocked at least 75% of the time. Has admitted that he doesn't know how to take a shot without looking at the puck at the same time.

Even though he was a 20 goal scorer?

Ponikarovsky. By a long shot. The guy can deflect pucks in the net with some regularity, but anytime he takes a shot, it's right into the goalie's crest.

Scotty has been proving me wrong ever since.
What made it even worse was that he took a ton of shots when he was on the Rangers. They were slow as hell to. I'm talking narcoleptic snail slow.

Two Penguins could win this one. Craig Adams shot is putrid, inaccurate, and rarely even bothered to be taken...Paul Martin's comes with all the ferocity of a feral marshmallow Peep.

Steve MacIntyre...actually never mind, I don't recall ever seeing him shoot a puck as a Penguin.
