Was going to watch tomorrow but the score got spoiled. Don't think I'm going to bother. Only thing I'm interested in seeing now is Brule. Not going to watch three lousy periods to scout one guy though.

How's he look?

Morris?

Against Detroit? Okay, no points tomorrow, either. Yeesh.

In other news, Pontus Aberg is healthy and playing again. Hmmm... meet you in the draft thread, AY.

This team is too depressing this year, but at least I finally met somebody who makes me happy. We're going to go take an intimate bath with each other.

On a side note, Peter Mueller had a 3 point night. I guess it's good that his life isn't ruined, but it's sort of makes me want to hurt myself when I see our pathetic rebuild.

Somehow a picture of Parros hitting Summers in the groin is just the perfect picture to sum up how this night went...

Ugh right? Turris is doing good, Mueller is doing good. Imagine if those two put forth the effort here.

At least our defense is awesome and would never allow six goals.

Bad game for Smith and the team.

However this team has rebound well after Columbus lost and played pretty good at home lately.

I'm sure they can rebound tomorrow and get a win even thought it's Detroit.

Noticed.Brule had some good minutes and was a +1 How'd he look?

Was Morris back to train wreck status or did he manage another decent outing?

Brule looked pretty good but he isnt a difference maker.
Same with Pouliot and Chipchura they can play in the league and be fairly effective but they arent idfference maker.

Nobody played really bad yesterday I must say but the difference maker were just ok and Smith had a bad game.

Every team has days like that. The Caps got spanked by the lowly Islanders a few days past. It happens. It needs to happen less often. We still have 49 points so we are in a position to move up if the team gels around Hanzal (and Gretyl)

Every time Detroit comes to town I get this craving for fried wings drowned in Blue Cheese dressing. As a vegan, I don't eat wings. Looking forward to a good bounce back from the mess in Anaheim.

And we do indeed look slow. I don't like seeing our guys outraced to the puck every game. We are, however, very, very good along the boards.

Seitan fries up pretty nicely. It's a passable substitute, especially if you've got good hot sauce.

About 6 months ago, our family went vegetarian. My wife has tried vegan, but can't due to her thyroid. Glad to see another one on here!

As the Ducks announcers said - the Ducks have been getting the bounces their way lately and they weren't earlier in the season.
We definitely didn't get the bounces - we hit 2 goal posts and had the puck behind Hiller on the goal line twice (4 possible goals with the right bounces)
One thing I did notice was Smith was too deep in his net on a couple of the Duck's goals.

Took me a minute to get that. At first I was thinking Nacho Libre:

Nacho: I was wondering if you would like to join me in my quarters this night... for some toast.
