OT: Oshie Brings The Funny

So I was reading the live chat with from this afternoon, and a fan asks Oshie: "You are stuck on a deserted island. Which 3 teammates do you want with you and why?"

His reply: "Bring Arnie because he knows how to hunt. If we get really desperate for food, he's older and he'll probably die first.

I'd bring Ports because he can grill anything, literally anything.

And the last guy I would bring is Petro because he had to be in Boy Scouts growing up."


Comedy gold. Priceless. I literally burst out laughing for a good 15 or 20 seconds, especially at the Arnott joke.

Surprised at no Bergy. In the yearbook a couple years ago both of them had their dream golf foursome with each other and a combination of Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Jessica Simpson, and I think Rihanna.

Oshie seems like he's really matured since his first season. Hopefully we can lock him up to a long term contract this offseason.

Kevin Naunheimer: Even though the Blues are playing great. Do you feel a trade for a prominent goal scorer will push the team to the next level?

T.J. Oshie:
I think the chemistry that we have right now wouldn't be worth breaking up for a guy that potentially could come in and put pucks in the net. If you've ever seen "Miracle," they have a little speech about that, guys being a team. I think we're a close team right now and I'd hate to see anyone go.


Heck yeah. One of the biggest reasons I love hockey so much is because of how team focused it is. It's like a good group of bros.
