Marty starting is cool, but I think Hedberg NEEDS to start in the Philly or Buffalo game. One or the other, because I don't think it's a good idea to sit someone like him for 3 or more weeks. We have no back to back games for a few weeks, but we need to keep him good. It's not 2000 where we can sit Chris Terreri for a month, and a half. Back then Marty played most games I'm talking like 90 percent. When Terreri would start the results weren't very good either at that time.

A win would be huge. A loss with dignity, well, I'll understand.

Play like we did last night against Winnipeg, and pretty much the 2nd, and 3rd period against Calgary minus the Goaltending or pretty much minus all that Defensively, and we can win! The Bruins are the only team we've played more than once who we haven't beat yet.

I'd rather lose to Boston than these other chumps we've been losing to lately like Carolina or Calgary. I'd rather not lose the most though so win! Take it to Rask or Thomas whoever the hell they put in probably Thomas.

Marty has played good lately, but he's gonna have to play real good tonight.

Agreed! It was a good one. I laughed a lot.

Boston don't look so scary no more though. They don't look so bad right now. They aren't blowing the hell out of teams like they were. They blew out Florida 8-0 right before the last time we played them. They barely beat Florida two nights ago. It went to like a 6 round shootout. Florida has also considerably cooled off since then too. They were still on a role when they were outed 8-0 by Boston. Injuries, and stuff now they were almost able to beat Boston.

Carolina is not that good. They beat the Bruins twice early in the season before the the Bruins came back, and won 20 or 25 or whatever. Boston has now lost 2 of their last 3, and they were to teams tied for bottom of the Conference. Tampa Bay does not look like the one from last season.

I'm tired of the Bruins, and I can't see us losing to them every time this season. Let's play em like we did the last day of last season! Let's play em like we did in Boston in November only tighter.

This is not a team to back off to in the 3rd. It's also not a team to just cruise, and relax with in the 1st. If we do it will end up like Calgary only it's not gonna be 4 goals on 8 shots. It's gonna be 4 goals on 20. Even with good Goaltending.

Everybody needs to play. I've worried about a lot of teams this season, and aside from the Rangers we've beaten every one I was afraid of. I was dreading Dallas, and Pittsburgh, and we beat them. The Bruins are the only team we've played more than once that we haven't beaten yet! A win to the Bruins, and we've beaten EVERY team in the Conference at least once minus the Rangers who we've only played once.

This is a statement game. I felt really good about Tuesday's win over Winnipeg. I know it was to Winnipeg, and not a team in the top 8, but I've wanted all year to see us finally not be the team to pull the Goaltender for another, and for once really get a huge win. Also if it does go to shootout we CAN beat Boston in a shootout. It might not be as easy as most teams, but we can do it.

I don't care how we win, but we need this win. The only thing the Devils haven't been able to clean up yet is having a game a week where they get destroyed like in Calgary or the last Boston game or the one in Carolina. Boston might be real hungry. They will probably take us a lot more seriously than they took Tampa Bay too.
