Aeros Broadcasts

All Aeros games will be broadcasted via the team's website. I wish they could strike a deal with a local station to carry the games but in lieu of nothing this will have to do.

The Houston Aeros are proud to announce that www.aeros.com will be the exclusive home to all 80 regular-season broadcasts in the 2004-05 season. Veteran broadcaster Ken Double returns for his fifth season with the Aeros.

It will be interesting to see if less exposure via no radio broadcasts will effect the walk-up gate sales. I'll keep an eye on this. It does not effect me since I will likely be at almost every game since I'm a full STH. But it's the casual fan's interest that might be at risk.

I don't know how much it will affect the walk-up for the season but I'd be willing to bet the walkup on Saturday is pretty good with the Astros game ending right about the time the hockey should start.

They should do a ticket-stub promo. 10% (or whatever) off a ticket at the gate when you show your Astros ticket stub.
