Such terrible logic, 2000 easily obtainable in 2-3 months if you have an average job.

Maybe the Cup if Modano was still on the Stars. Now that's he's retired and I've seen him and Dallas win the Cup in my lifetime I'd take the 2000.

The only way to sway me would be $2M+ as a starting point to not win the cup.

If I'm guaranteed to have my team win the Cup, bet all my money on team to win the Cup (come out with more than $2000, and the Cup).

So let's put it this way. You'd pay up to 2 mil to see your team win the cup? Assuming you had exactly 2 mil in your bank.

As a lifetime hardcore leaf fan, I would give up almost any amount of money for it. I am happy with my life, if I suddenly came into some money that I wasnt expecting I would most definetly give it up to see us win. There is no dollar amount that would change my mind. The cup would be the greatest thing that could happen in my life, money isnt even close.

Cup easily. The emotions and enjoyment of my team getting there >>>> the enjoyment I'd have for the 2,000.

I've done that, I also worked for 10 years before I got to uni. I would still absolutely bring the cup home to TO than scam a measly $2000.

Keep your fairweather fandom out west my friend.

But in all seriousness, if you're a diehard fan of a team, then you've devoted several hours and emotions of your life to that team (and most likely money as well if you've purchased tickets, merchandise, etc.)

I think the feeling that you'd get from them winning the Cup would be much more gratifying and long-lasting than what $2000 will get you.
Several hours??? ... try 20 years and counting and I'm not even close to some Leaf fans out there.

I've got that game on VHS.....great memories, but that was 13 years ago!

We're due again soon, methinks.

Cup, please.

That depends. First, if I found that kind of money, I'm going to try and give it back to whoever lost it. So, unless it's Bill Gates that dropped it and he tells me to keep it, that money is as good as gone.

Second, if we're talking the Red Wings and if it's gift money, I'd rather have the money. It'd be nice if I saw a 5th cup in my lifetime, but the first 4 were good memories enough.

If we're talking the Caps who have never won, then yeah, the cup.

Cup easily. 2000 doesn't do much for me anymore. In a good week I can make quite a bit more than that.

That number would have to be much higher for me to not take the Cup.

Stanley cup for the Sens for sure.

As a student getting ready to liquidate my investments so I can eat and drink...$2,000 unfortunately.

Once I have a steady flow of income it's easily the cup though.

Cup. I've blown $2,000 in one night and had almost no memories to show for it. Add another 0 to the end of that number and I take the money.
