I have no debt and a full time job. Cup, not even close.

I don't know if you guys are really young or something, but 2 grand doesn't get you much.

Different situations, different answers. Your response makes sense given your situation, me and some others are students with rent and bills, 2000 saves us a couple months of work.

Hockey is a big part of my life too, I love to watch and play it, I support my team win or lose, and all in all wheather they're cup champs or 30th in the league it's not going to affect my life very much except for a few bragging rights I guess. I'll take the money.

Since I don't really have a favorite team in the NHL atm just switch the Stanley Cup to Finnish Championship and I'd do it without any hesitation.

As much as i'd like for my team to win the cup, rather take the money. Not a fanatic like some people here, rather get the $2000 and take my gf on a vacation. While $2000 might be pocket change to some, it's a decent amount for university students.

Cup, I was too young in 1993 so I want to see my team win it.

I'm not 10 years old so $2000 isn't that much money.

The amount of money I would win on bets would easily clear 2k if we won the cup, so I'll take the cup.

The Cup.

$2000 could easily be made if I worked through every Leaf game and didn't spend any money on merchandise, tickets or even sometimes watching the games at a bar.

I've invested much more than $2000 worth of time browsing this site, watching sportscentre and hockey games.

Now if you made it $50000 then things get interesting...

No question, the cup.

I'd wouldn't consider it until at least 5 G's.

id pick 2 grand over a lot of things. Rangers winning a cup is most definitely not one of them.

Cup. Not close really. I guess each individuals' financial situations would play a part in making the decision but :s 2000$ seems like a very small amount compared to the amount of happiness that the Cup should bring a real fan.

But I'm a Canucks fan so :3

As a broke university student, every penny counts. I would have to take the money here, as priceless as a Canucks win would be. I have to survive. ;/
