Truly stunning to see a comment like that, for sure. So many people (Americans, I'm guessing...??) just don't understand the game, other than to read a scoresheet. I couldn't care less about point totals (though he led the team!) because he does everything else that many of the others weren't willing to. He fought harder than anyone on that team, through constant physical abuse, to set the team up.
Toews is, BY FAR, the best all around player on that team, and he's my personal vote for best in the league, all around.

I absolutely agree that it's an award for the entire playoffs. Here was my original post:
It shouldn't be too hard to see that my post was concerning the Finals, where he simply was not effective. If you guys want to disagree with me about that then go for it, but 3 assists(2 being on the PP) and a -5 rating will take my side.
I can agree he wasn't great in the finals, but I can also care less because they won and e was the playoff MVP.
What does the finals two years ago have to do with Toews performing this year anyway?
