Id like to see:

Smyth-Gagner-Eberle
Paajarvi-Lander-Hemsky
Eager-Horcoff-Jones
Green-Omarra-Hordichuk

Although Im just happy that with Eberle back we now have more than one line that can score!

MPS-Lander-Hemsky would be awesome but it'll never happen!

eager on the 1st line, no mps up there seems a bit stupid

also this is why you name ppl all stars then replace them a few days before if they can't go due to injury, even if you have to use the best rookies if vets are unavailable...just makes the nhl all-star game look even more like a popularity contest

I'm going to assume its because Eager has 5 more goals in only 5 more GP, playing with even worse line mates or the same as PRV, this after coming off concussion and back issues

Eager goes hard in the paint, and creates room for his line mates. I have no problem with Renney tossing him a carrot. Paajarvi had a good game against the BJs, let him build on that and get some chemistry with someone besides Belanger for once.

Its all about what have you done for me lately. If Eberle wasnt suiting up Eager wouldve been our top goal scorer since the end of November.
Paajarvi needs to show a lot more before getting a promotion.

Nice to see the loving.

Open those doors of perception.

Who could do Jim Morrison better than Eddie Vedder?

Anyway I'm thinking that video might be better viewing than any of the game.

This is defintiely one of those PVR and get the reviews before viewing type games. Not ready for primetime these Oilers.

A little more beauty and a little less horror thanks..

Yeah.

As much as I've ragged Eager the guy has 5 goals on very limited minutes and opportunity. Less, even, then Paajarvi has had.

Eager brings a little bit of the Ryan Jones type random around the net. Plus good speed and not shy like Paajarvi in taking it to the net.

Seems specious reasoning if anything critiquing Eager getting some primo minutes and arguing to put Paajarvi's goose egg there instead.

I really think Renney has overplayed Belanger and underplayed Eager this season. Eager should be a 10-12 minute per game player. Same goes for Belanger.

I really hope the Eager experiment on the top line ends quickly. Paajarvi could use the confidence boost and better linemates.

Very glad to see Eberle back. I just hope he isn't rushing it.

GO OILERS GO!!!

Pretty sure they did. If only to get Spartacus and Androcles on together hoping for a return engagement..

Better for the jugs of wine and continued pompeii trading cards sales.

Plus no need to shed blood of the star slaves. Enough 3rd and 4th line Christians to go around.

Really interested to see how Eager plays on the top line. I think his grittiness and speed will compliment Gagner & Hemsky.

hahaha.. I was thinking more in terms of Christians vs Lions..

but I like your thinking here.. with your way there is less.. "finality".. and thus HOPE FOR THE FUTURE

The Show Must GO ON..!!

upon further reflection.. there is probably a modecom of stratagy involved.. to ensure a good show, you would line up the "skinny" Christians first so that the lions would still be hungry for the 3rd and 4th lines...??!!??

We need our top line to score goals, not skate down the wing and take a wrister from the blueline
