I love these 4pm start times way out yonder. Anyways I have a good feeling about this game. Just don't play flat, take it to them, be sharp and we should come out with two points. Let's do this.

not horrible.. but not good whatsoever. pucks been in our zone 75% of the time. no great chances for cbj but they are out hitting us and out chancing us.
I'll put it this way, I'm on break from grad school right now, have been enjoying sleeping in most mornings, I got up at 8am to watch this game and so far I probably should have stayed in bed.

but seriously... if the score wasn't 0-0, i'd be a little more dramatic. we do have rinne in net. but for us to be where we are in the standings and coming off being shutout on national tv AND playing against the worst team in the NHL, its sad to see the amount of effort i saw in that first period. simply being out worked and no creativity on offense whatsoever.. and thats why we're being outshot 13-7 by the last place blue jackets.
