The Herald has GR's twitter updates on the bottom of his blog, though.

NHL GM's seem to be pretty honest with each other, and I'm guessing this was one of those: "don't pick my guy up and I'll return the favor one day" by Tallon.

This is good for San Antonio's playoff run. Seems like they've gotten a lot better the past couple of days with the trade and now this.
Nice, good to know.

Dunno, Snow didn't care and took Grabner, just don't think his value was what others here did. A few very good games by a 23 year old isn't enough to convince GMs, I'm sure. Still, we're always left scratching our heads when it comes to their moves.

I do wonder if we'll see Buff and/or Ladd in a Panther sweater one day. Think he covets Buff more, though.

Keep in mind also that teams are only starting to figure out whether they are buyers or sellers for the trade deadline. Claiming Repik means less roster flexibility with trades most likely so I think GMs thought about that as well when deciding not to claim him.

If we try to recall him again does he go through re-entry waivers? Could see somebody picking him up at 50% off.

As a matter of fact, you could make a case that Barch-Santorelli-Bradley has been our most consistent line, recently.
i absolutely agree.

was thinking that as well. and when he was waived earlier in the season, i believe it was at a point after rosters were set for the season which, again, made it tough for teams to pick him up.

I was a bit surprised by him clearing, but very glad that he did. Reason being, I know he's not going to crack the lineup with everyone healthy, but when injuries happen, he's one of the first guys, if not the first that I think of to fill in. I think he has potential to be a full-time NHLer either with us or on another team if he keeps us the play we saw over the last couple of weeks.

Real glad to hear he cleared. Whether you thought it was a good move or not, it's still nice to keep a solid prospect in our system, as opposed to just losing him.

He's know what he has to do to make it, he knows how he has to play down there, and he seems to have the right attitude. I'd love to see him make the team at some point on a permanent basis. He really sees the ice well and is growing into a very good playmaker.

Good that he made it through, hopefully he can do a good job for the Rampage now.
