I'm sure it was something they said.

And Gerbe's small, but he's a tough dude. He's taken plenty of hits, and dished 'em right back. Sure he bounces off the bigger guys, but at least he'll hit them, which is more than I can say for the rest of the team.

Maybe there is a reason for it? MSL is very well respected.

Definitely a feisty lil guy, don't care for his yapping though.

Why does he deserve to be disrespected?

Would it be more okay for him to chirp if he were taller?

Lol.

No, players just shouldn't spend so much of games yapping. Especially when they have no intentions of ever fighting the guy they are chirping.

So you don't respect him because he yaps. Tell me, do you respect Marchand?

Not at all...They are actually a lot alike except Marchand is far dirtier.

Okay then. It seems your respect is very difficult to earn.

Gotta love Jack Edwards. Only in his tiny little world is the hit Marchand took a hit from behind and a run being taken on him. It was a perfectly clean hit and then all the Bruins took cheapshots on any player in the area. Looked like a gang beating. No surprise I guess.

I was expecting more from the Wheeler/Gerbe thing. Thats a chuckle thing not a thing.

Not really, just too many rats in the NHL.

Not the first time it's happened. Carcillo did it last year and Gerbe immediately scored a beautiful goal the next shift, then celebrated and pointed at Carcillo as he skated by the benches.

Neil did it this season. Gerbe's got to be used to childish stuff like that by now. He's a guy that'll feast off it more than anything, kinda like booing an ex-player.

Half the players that give Gerbe trouble have only half the talent that he has anyway. The guy's short, so what? It sounds kind of old-fashioned but it's the size of someone's heart that counts. When it comes to appearance it could be just as easy to judge someone that's immensely huge too. Who cares about size? Players big and small love the game.

Well, this is gonna go downhill from the looks of it.

Gerbe's got stones, I'll give him that.

Ironically enough, I think his size helps him win some puck battles. Low center of gravity, he's always directly over the puck on the boards.

Was hoping his offensive game would develop a bit more this season, but the team on a while is so terribad right now it's almost impossible.

Haha right, that is exactly what happened there. Watch a few non-Leafs games and you'll see that despite looking like a ankle biter running around on the ice, I have no seen him back down from a single player. The guy has testicles the size of watermelons.

And for the record, Lupul threw the first shot and then Gerbe went at him.

And yet, I still have not seen Gerbe get destroyed once in his career so far.

I do during games. It's endlessly entertaining. I still remember his hit on Chara in one of his first games in the NHL. He went at him with some steam but bounced right off. It was hilarious.

Wheeler just went to my **** list.

I don't think people ever realize, but Gerbe plays on the checking line. Guy is solid.

Pretty sure Chara was knocked down a couple times by Gerbe... Funny how Chara has this illusion he is the strongest player in the league. Pretty sure when it comes to hits you don't wanna **** with Oshie.

Couldn't have put it better myself. It's amazing how formidable the keyboard warriors are.

Might have been. Don't think he did much the first time, but it impressed me nonetheless.
