It's not a shot at you, but damn they are massive media trolls and they're surely smarter than they act but the way they act on TV isn't intelligent at all.
This plus Tremblay is probably the most biased, least interesting, ********* writer I've seen in a period of time I like to call 'ever'

Ditto man. You are entitled to say whatever and think whatever. It seems very hard to understand for most but you know, whatever tickles your pickle.

That's fine, just realize most people on habs board strongly dislike rejean. He's a huge whiner about pointless stuff. He bashes management based on idiotic logic. "why didnt they draft this french guy?" who ends up a bust, but 2 years later "I told you, they should've got giroux!" No you didnt. He's a biased moron. People feel strongly about him here because he's a major troll. May I ask what 'intelligent' discussions and topics he brings up that are ACCURATE? I mean, every article he writes is covered with hindsight. "I wouldn't have got fischer, I would've got X french player" Yah no ****, I would've taken anyone over fischer at this point. He just uses hindsight and poor logic to push his agenda and it's getting old quick.

Besides, he's not a montreal columnist. Didn't he whine and say he'll cover the Tampa Bay Lightning?

I don't think I've ever seen an appreciation for a reporter. This market never ceases to amaze me

Couldn't somebody knock up a thread about the Dubé/McGuire duo? Not technically reporters but some of the best broadcast team I've ever seen/heard.

And that would be strange as well on a Habs board.

And why is that? My opinion is that when someone does a great job, it must be mentioned. They're entirely relevant to the Habs since they make our appreciation of the games and our general experience THAT much better. We need that when the team's as fecking bad as it is.

Probably because the media is considered to be the root of all evil in this city when it comes to hockey. Have to agree though, Dubé is a very knowledgeable guy. I love listening to him.

Honestly, I prefer bloggers. The top ones have similar access with surprisingly much more fact to back up their opinions. While Eklund is a nut, Engels and Hindle are pretty good reads. I don't follow many French blogger/reporters, mostly because I try to avoid reporters who's market is targeted in the city. Of the francophone's though, I prefer Pierre Ladouceur (I enjoy his game report cards, even when I don't fully agree with them), Luc Gelinas and Philippe Cantin. I think you tend to get better reporting when they somewhat remove themselves from the inter-media competition.

How would him saying this piss someone off? Couldn't give a damn if he likes Tremblay, we're just calmly pointing out how it makes very little sense. If someone is actually mad that this guy likes Tremblay (whether genuinely or not) really needs to up his meds.

Gélinas, LaDouceur's reports, Dubé.

No-one on the anglo side.

Best entertainment is easily l'Antichambre though. Like watching La Petite Vie analyse the Habs.
