On the way to 0-7-0 on the road trip

G: Site URL update means the work filters don't block the boards. Yay!

B: Sabres announcing team, powerplay efforts

U: The free fall continues and barely anyone on the team looks like they care.

Typical. Freaking Typical.

The Good -

- McCormick up to the dumb penalty. Looks like he'd like to stay in the lineup with that effort.
- Miller kept them in it and made an amazing save in the first to keep it close.
- Gerbe was skating hard.

The Bad -

- Hello anyone else want to show up?

The Ugly -

- Hecht. Consecutive stupid penalties leading to goals againts.
- Roy. A bad penalty resulting in a goal against.
- Weber, Leopold, and Gragnani all sucking it up in their own zone enough to allow goals against. Same old same old.
- Kaleta hurt. Takes another PKer out of the rotation...

This team badly needs a game in which everything they shoot just goes in.

When they get down, they play like they know they aren't coming back (it doesn't help that they never play like they're going to win) so getting on board early and a lot would probably help.

I find Kevin Sylvester's voice to be quite sensual when he exclaims "scores!!!"

That would require some crazy physics to be able to play themselves.

Which one? Mine (1st post), Ehrhoff's (apparently my GBU got merged into his), or Chainshot's?

Don't know if he's married or not, but if he is then I'm sure that's EXACTLY what he says to "set the mood" for his wife.

If the teams behind us win their games in hand on us we are now 2nd worst in the Conference. With the way Anaheim is playing now Buffalo will more than likely be the 4th worst team in the league by January unless something drastic changes.

The best thing for the franchise now is to continue tanking, get a high pick, and restructure in the offseason. There's no use hoping for wins anymore with the playoffs out of reach.

Will there be a game where a Sabre doesn't get knocked out of the lineup?

It's actually mind boggling to believe that there are 3 teams in the league with less goals then us.

Why is management so adverse to changing anything? I'm not asking for drastic measures, I happen to agree with Miller, 1 or 2 players won't shake anything up. This season is lost. But for next season and the following season we need to get the ball rolling whether its coaching or personel.

I suggest they play Chain's son's mite team....... (he sometimes plays goal) No wait, that would be unfair to the Sabres.

as far as coaching goes who knows. As far as players go, I think Darcy has let it be known to the other GM's which players are available and he's gonna let the bidding go to the deadline and try to get the best value.

Sabres are 1-19-1 when trailing after two periods this season.
Not only is that a horrible stat at first glance, but it also means that we've been trailing after two periods in 21 of our 46 games.

Good....Team is improving...Detroit beat us by 5 goals, Chicago by 4 goals, Winnipeg by 3 goals...if this pattern holds true....we should pickup a win in Montreal

Bad.....Outscored 19-5 over last 4 games

Ugly....No one in the organization seems to be mad, angry or care...at least in the interviews I have heard.....maybe if they renovated the locker room...it would give them a spark
